I have to add something, in the finals of Carioca (Rio de Janeiro championship) he was actually chosen to be the 3rd in the line in the penalty shootout in a final and let me say, he scored a fearless goal, which makes this guy even more impressive to me :D

He will play for Flamengo in 2011 - in June??

Financially, Flamengo is one of the teams most "broken" in Brazil, do not know where much money!?

To have a big debit isn't the same to be broken. Flamengo has one of the biggest profit in Brazil, Ronaldinho still is one of the most well paid player in world.

Airton will be loaned with buy priority at the end of the loan. And I supposed if he plays well he will be bought. A similar case occurred with Thiago Neves, he was loaned and at the end of loan Flamengo will will buy him for 8M eurs because he is playng very well.

Top Speed: 81
Acceleration: 78 - not sure of any numbers but he's not as fast as Fernando, probably faster than Javi. I'd say something more along the lines of Andrés Madrid, a tad faster than Mendes, not fast enough to be in the yellow zone.

Short Pass Accuracy: 77

Shot Power: 80
Shot Technique: 66 - he has made some long range attempts were he shows he can pack decent power.

Technique: 78 - If André Santos has 81 and Grimi 78, then 78 is the minimum for him i guess.

Team Work: 82>76 - Maybe he deserved that value before but not in Benfica. He simply can't be ahead Javi. Imo TW should be the most affected stat when players change clubs.

So, can i update these values?

Fine by me, although imo defence could be even lower.

I'd say arround 70-72, he's a decent DMF but nothing special, the distance to Javi Garcia in defence value must be considerable since Javi has better positioning and can play as CB, Airton as an advantage in speed.

I disagree defence 72. It could be 74 at least, he has a good defence sense and plays as CB very well.

And for a DMF he has a better technique and DA. I suggest 79 and 78 respectively.

He made just a few games, so I can't rate him correctly but he looked like can worth DEF 73~74 and is a bit better skilled like squall suggested.

I can agree to a 79 or even more for technique, again comparing him to Javi he wasn't any worst in his first touch. Regarding defense i maintain my opinion.

And change SB to CB. I do know he played any match as SB in Benfica, but in Flamengo just CB and DMF.

Number: 0
Botafogo uses 1 to 11 starting players in each match.
It is impossible to set a fixed number.
