well

Van der Vaart
13 games - 5 times subbed in - 7 times subbed out --> 734 minutes played (league)
3 games --> 210 minutes played (copa del rey + supercopa)

Guti
10 games - 2 times subbed in - 2 times subbed out --> 711 minutes played (league)
3 games - 1 time subbed in - 1 time subbed out --> 187 minutes played

so i guess if we are talkin only for the AM position van der vaart should have a little advantage, BUT.. vdv plays when sneijder is injured.. then guti and vdv are both playin..

Here we go again... do you really see Sneijder playing a bit to the right? ANYTIME I've tried to locate him, he's on the left side, and he's the AMF, Sneijder's abilities make him go deep to get the ball and will make him act like he does in reality, the CM is Guti who starts deeper and then goes up if the play requires it to make the final pass.

When Robben is fit, he plays as WF, not SMF.

Another thing, Raúl (the SS) plays JUST A LITTLE BIT to the right, and the CF a bit to the left.

Something like that was Schuster's formation, things will change with Juande, but I'd say wait 'till the new signings come and stuff.

Could anyone give me a link to Violent's formation thingy? I'll put that in a better way.

Btw, Gago is playing obviously 'cause Diarra's injured. And Higuaín instead of RvN.

The defence would be something like Salgado-Ramos-Cannavaro-Marcelo since Pepe is out too. Of course, the Camp Nou one will look different.

Gago
Sneijder
V.d.Vaart
Robben
Raul Higuain

And looking a Huntelaar's games should be Titular!

Guti plays more than VdV and Marcelo or Heinze is a big doubt.

mario88, you're talking about how they SHOULD play, but we use here the formation that the coach uses in reality.

Marc, from what I've seen... Juande trusts Marcelo pretty much enough to consider him the first choice instead of Heinze.

Juande's using a 'fake' 4-4-2, being 'fake' 'cause Robben isn't a midfielder, but a winger in the real meaning of the word.

Without the injured players, being some of them key players, it looks like this:

http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/8418/rmformationiiwj6.jpg

GK: Casillas
RB: Sergio Ramos
RCB: Cannavaro
LCB: Metzelder
LB: Marcelo
DM: Gago
CM: Guti
LMF: Drenthe
WF: Robben
SS: Raúl ©
CF: Higuaín

Penalty Taker: Higuaín
Right Corner: Guti
Left Corner: Guti
Long Free Kick: Guti
Short Free Kick: Guti

At least for now... without the signings too... but it's something, so we change the old Schuster formation.

EDIT: Changed it using Violent's thingy. I hope Sneijder replaces Guti when he's fit, 'cause Guti's harming the team playing in that deep position.
(Guti's style only works if he plays as AM, or even SS... his game is only his final pass  )

You forgot the defensive arrows. ;)

PD: Is there any reason why RCB is more in center than LCB?

Damn, I always forget something when making formations...

And the RCB being placed like that is because... I don't have a ruler to see if they're levelled lol.

EDIT: Updated my Formation with the defensive arrows and levelled CBs :P

Move to first post?

Updated.

I think that during the January's month, we will have to change this sure because with some players there and some new incorporations, Juande will use a different. BTW, good job Tavo. ;)

EDIT: Cannavaro plays in the Left and Metzelder in the Right or I'm wrong?

Of course it'll change, that's why I said that it's what we have atm without the signings and the injured ones.

I don't remember exactly against Valencia, but I'm sure it was like that against Barça.

i think when Sneijder is fit he'll play in the left as CM/AM(ex. against Barça) in the place of Robben, who'll play in the left as WF :ugeek:

not saying to change it, but i guess it'll be something like this

Sneijder will hopefully play CM/AM instead of Guti, Robben will go to the left if we sign a RMF/RWG good enough to take the spot.

But speculating is useless at the moment...
