Serie A Missing Players - Notes & Discussions

Postby Epsi » 2008 Dec 09, 17:16

READ THIS BEFORE POSTING NEW SETS:
Please, avoid posting tons of sets without proper explanations. Give helpful and useful suggestions on the current sets instead of posting brand new ones. This thread is made to have everything about missing players, in order to make good sets to be eventually moved to the main database. Thank you.

Short rules:
- Sets must be posted here. So no more pending sets on teams sections, just post here whatever you want to share with us.
- Everyone who posts a set can edit it whenever he wants, just make us aware of it posting a reply in this thread with the changes you applied on the set and possibly even clear explanations on them.
^ Everyone who doesn't follow this rule will lose the ability to edit his set.
- The thread is not just for sets, the main purpose is to discuss missing players. So notes are equally accepted just like "Player X vs. Team" videos are.

Mathías CARDACIO
Tabaré VIUDEZ

these two guys should be marked in italics tbh.. they did not get any serious playing time at all and I doubt they will anytime soon..

CARDACIO has played 19 games with Nacional de Montevideo, while VIUDEZ played 35 with Defensor Sporting... these are quite enough playing time in professional football to me to not be italic. The problem is to have someone who watched them and could rate properly

many of the non-italic players played in lower leagues, but they did play... the problem for them all is the same :)

but I actually without any offense I can care less about Uruguayan league.. firstly they're are too young, secondly like you've said no one probably watched all of their matches..

but anyways.. sorry for the guy that posted stats for Rodney Strasser but I had to delete them.. unless the player gets a regular Serie A playing time his stats can't be adjusted properly.. and as a AC Milan mod I do not agree with having such stats for such young lad that did not have enough serious football..

I didn't even notice he got posted :P yeah, you did well ;) he's not even in the regulars list...

btw, it's not about what we care or not. of course i won't watch an uruguayan league match either, but they did play professional football and there is a chance to evaluate them properly... that's what italic means: that they can't be even evaluated, since to do it with youth games is quite hard... now there surely are problems with it since it's hard to find someone who watched them and is good with stats... but there is a chance and so i won't make them italic ;)

the greatest problem instead is that since they're milan players many people want to do them only because of that, and so the % of piss stats is higher :(

Nah, it was Marazzina instead. I have very little notes on Mingazzini...eventhough I've seen him in his mask a number of times now.

Marcello CASTELLINI
They'll likely be the next Bologna guys. But it might not be till after New Years 8-)
