Thulani Serero

Small but physically capable midfielder. Used to be a CMF/AMF hybrid but seems to have no problem adapting to a more defense-minded position on the midfield. Has a pretty crazy workraid and works hard for the team. Doesn't have much in the way of a proper attacking treat, but is very good at balancing the play and breaking up attacks.

Thanks for adding!

Set is good for now, but does he deserve these Def and Resp values? Both look a bit high to me. Personally I see him as an AM/SS kind of player.

Yeah his DEF is probably too high. I think his RESP is pretty okay though. He is on loose ball quite often and sometimes "steals" a ball through quick reactions (despite his mini-stature).

I am actually looking forward to see this guy on the pitch again. When I saw him play he always was very 'pure'. Great skills on the ball and a creative playingstyle, just an lack of physical presence and his tactical awareness (esp. when opponent is in possession) is quite poor.

Other sources suggest he is 170 cm and 68 kg. Seems to make a bit more sense. He is not as tiny as 164 I think.

His passing is so inconsistent for a midfielder....

Agree with Fides , in many sources says his 1.72 and 68 kg , even here in Ajax Official Site :

Can he also play CM ?

His top speed is probably below average, while his turning/agility is world class. I would like to suggest TS: 77/78 but AGI/EP: 88 or something like that. He can turn (with the ball on his feet) in such little space. It's impressive. DA could also be 83 or something like that.

I'd agree with that, wouldn't put TS lower than 79 though...

He might be a candidate for:
S07 - Shoulder Feint Skills
S20 - Double Touch
S21 - Run Around

His defensive collaboration and devotion deserves probably a bit more then 73. 77/78 would be fine for him (DEF AW can also be 2). He isnt a lazy player, he is just not really good at defending because he isnt really a tackler and he isnt strong enough to win battles either. His TS is probably a bit lower. Over longer distances he cant really keep up with other player (probably due to his short steps?), 77 would be more accurate I suppose, maybe even more like 75....but for some reason that seems harsh.

Yes,I agree with a higher DEF,even yesterday against Barcelona he helped the defence and showed that his DEF is sure higher than 40 .

I think his DEF is in the 50's and BB should be bordering greens imo...

BB could probably be 73 but I wouldnt go higher. Kicking power can probably also go to 75. He kicks like a youth player in terms of power. Outside the box his shot power and shot technique are rather useles.
