He's just joined Sheffield United for a club record fee.
I was wondering whether he's actually good enough (in terms of potential, at least) to justify a huge investment from a club like Sheffield United.

I remember some good performances of him in UEL two years ago, but he was underwhelming for Genk this season in UCL last year.

He looks/plays in Matic's style, just not as neat as the Serbian was in his prime time.

Honestly, he's got beastly potential. He's strong, durable, good in tight spaces, good on the ball, good passer, all he needs is to develop top level form and consistency.
Everyone knew it was impossible. Then came along a fool who didn't know it, and he did it.

He is looking promising so far! Some good early displays as he adapts to the system.

Yep, his adaptation was quite fast, he looks suit in Sheffield's system and i believe he will be a key player for them in future perhaps. Imo, his tech should be higher than 80, i think he deserves in 84 level.

I think he profiles nicely with them too! Not sure on his end product yet but seems to give Fleck a good license to go forward more. Steep learning curve, but he’s shown flashes for sure. Tech I would hold off on for now. There’s a big chance he fluffed in the final minute of the draw with Brighton in my mind he should have gotten a better touch on to control and move on with... but maybe!
