I only saw him once, but I have to say that he could keep the ball close to his feet when other players try are marking him. so maybe he need a little raise in DA.

I've seen a Youtube clip about one of his free kick (Now disapper)
So, i think FKA could go to 75 and Curling 77-78 at least

Now when the season is over I will try to make some suggestions to his stats. The registered position should probably be changed to IMF as he has played in that position since the summer when we signed some attackers. The only reason I can se to him being played as a SS in the first half of the season was that we didn't have any other attackers that we felt comfortable enough to play with, but as we got Goitom and loaned Bangura in the summer and also Karikari came back from his loan spell, there was no longer any need to play Borges as an attacker and he will probably not play there anymore. Overall his stats seems a bit overrated, as he even though he is one of the best midfieldes of the league would be to good against clubs from better leagues with these stats. So my suggestion would be to lower some stats until he proves himself in a better league.
Attack: 76, 80 is just to high, he is smart in his attacking sense of moving, but I think 80 is overdoing it a bit.
Header 77, 82 is also very high for him in my opinion, he would be one of the best headers of the ball in the league, which he isn't, and he has also missed some sitter due to poor heading skills, so I think 77 would suit him better
Dribble accuracy 82 also seems a bit high, he has good technique but I think he should have a higher number for ball control then his DA, and 82 i good for BC, so, I would say 79-80 for DA instead
Body balance 83 also seems a bit high, he has never seemed to be anything extraordinary in that departement, about 80 would do it
Jump, 83 would suggest that he is a pretty good jumper, at least better than the average player, something I never noticed and I've watched him almost every game this season, so, I would lower this one as well, 78-79 would suit him better I think.
Shot accuracy also seems a bit high, I would put it at something around 75

Updated with above suggestions although I haven't changed registered position. He played as a SS against Napoli and seems to swap between there and MF depending on the game.

Yeah, I know, it really came as a surprise but I think the coach wanted a more balanced formation in the europa league games and now when Moro and Danielsson have been very good in the centre, he can't keep Borges out of the starting eleven because he is too good not to play. It will be interesting to see in which position he will play next year but as I said in my earlier post, since the summer he played all matcher except some Europa League games as a midfielder. He will probably play in the midfield for most of the time and then when we are playing against a better team maybe put him up as a SS, but thats only speculations.

I haven't looked at his stats in a while.

I think the update is fine but I do think his attack rating is underrated.

His scoring record suggests he is better than 75. I'd opt for 78-79 or so.

hello, he is a center midfielder that can play at atacking midfielder or defensive midfielder, his shot accuracy, shot power, stamina and teamwork are his best atributes, at the time CR left the world cup, Celso borges was the player with the most miles covered in the whole WC. more than anybody of any team! he is a very shure paser and his short pas accuracy and speed should be in the 80´s as well as his shot accuracy, and jumping.

I'm giving this a total overhaul.

He's a weird, special player. In terms of technique Borges is an average midfielder, but he makes up for it with an attacking vocation and instinct that is not common among most midfielders. He really needs a peculiar set to reflect that. Perhaps 80 ATT is a bit high, but I believe he deserves it, he's a sharp and dangerous attacker, able to keep his head high and look around for alternatives when simply taking a shot from distance is not the best course of action. However he is not a playmaker, he doesn't really have the technical ability nor the footballing intelligence to organize his team's attack, and he won't be giving assists left and right, he's nothing like that. He's just sharp and dangerous, able to get to the end of passes like a poaching striker and also quite resourceful when it comes to picking rebounds.

Defensively he's quite average, in fact 60 DEF could be considered a generous value. He puts some effort into it but not really excels.

If partnered with a technically decent midfield, Borges is the kind of player teams like Deportivo can profit inmensely from.

I think he deserves a higher value for balance, he is tall and quite strong in the physical duels. Also, he is a decent passer, doesnt miss many passes, so his SPA should be probably a bit higher.
