Condition/Fitness

Postby DeFrenZ » 2009 Apr 04, 12:19

Nowadays all the calculus on Condition is made on matches/minutes played over entire seasons as I see, but lately i've had some doubts that it isn't quite right...

from what i know, Condition is:
The chance that a player is in a good form (arrow).

if we consider little issues taken in training like bad arrows, then FOR A SURE STARTER knowing how much he played is okay to count these issues... but for others probably not :( and what's more, if one is playing we're not sure if he's on good form, and similarly if one doesn't play that doesn't mean he's on bad...

so i propose to evaluate Condition only on a goodmatches/matchesplayed basis... i'd rate GIOVINCO (an example i know pretty well) on around 6, since he does one GOOD game each 2 more or less, and the other is not so bad after all...

Condition 8: almost all games (examples: Javier Zanetti or Lampard)
Condition 7: from 35 to 40
Condition 6: from 29 to 34
Condition 5 from 23 to 28
Condition 4: from 17 to 22

Thats my opinion.

I think this method is not all correct because I made some tests comparing players with same Condition and Stamina, at first they stay equal but on more games in sequence their fatigue became diferent between them.
Then I made another test comparing a Center Back with a Side Back, the SB had more condition and more Stamina, and after a couple games the SB stayed with more fatigue than the CB.

The conclusion for me is the condition and the stamina works at the same way, even with same numbers the player who run more or make more in a game will loss more stamina and get more fatigue. So use only this stats for reference it will be disconsidering this factor.

Edit
Thats why a goalkeeper can play all matches with much less stamina and condition, or a CB and a CF who stay always fixed doesn't need a high condition to play always but a wing need.
And this statics doesn't count when they are playing in sacrifice, or very fatigued and we dont know.

I have a example of Maicon (Inter Milan), when he plays for Brazil national team he is substituted many times because he is tired, and he has a high condition but he doesn't stop running ever.

Maybe my question is stupid but... Where is this stat in PES 2010? I don't see it anywhere...

Thank you!

Please forgive me, maybe i'm blind but I don't see that stat since PES 5, when it was with the rest of the stats... Now I see the stats list, then the both "Weak foot" stats, then the regularity... And nothing else. In the other screen I see the Injury Resistance, the Age... But nothing about form or condition... Could anybody show me a picture, please?

Thank you very much!

A very nice review of the attributes analyzed and explained. These are some of the nicest things that can happen to these conditions. My best inversion table reviews I used the same methodology to get my results.
