The last reliable old-gen stats from japanese team (PES 2014)

Postby Epsi » 2015 Dec 02, 17:22

You know, PES Database team changed starting from PES 2015. The stats were no more made by the japanese team (the one who took care about them all the time) but by the team in Windsor. From that moment, stats level degraded even more, putting inside new concepts, lowering on a wider scale, etc.. and going outside of any concept we've ever thought about stats before.

The last PES stats cured by japanese team were the 2014 ones. As you may know, the stats system was changed, with new addings (Attacking Prowess, Defensive Prowess, Ball Winning), but as you may know additionally, these stats were just a calculation from the previous Attack, Defence, BB and Response values.
Starting from this, I've just made some calculations to find out which were the actual old gen values which were afterwards trasmuted into the new values. PES 2014 had also a PS2 version with old-gen stats, but it didn't received of course the later updates that followed from month to month.
The calcle was simple as I already had the BB value to start with, so I've found out some very interesting stats.

If you want to know about some players in particular, just give an ask. I'm currently creating a small ladder into I'm putting the values I extrapolated since now.

But they were still the former editors, with the standards we all knew. They changed everything (the editing team) from PES 2015 (adding Klaus and Thomas).

Do you want to see some old-fashioned stats?

Vidal had attack 81, defence 82 and response 96 from their last update (PES 2014, in spring 2014).

@Espi: if you're interested about that, check the psp emulator (ppsspp) and "Winning Eleven 2014 : Aoki Samurai no Chosen", like PES 2014 with winter transfers and players have been updated in attributes too. It's out on 3DS but i didn't check out.

It's the very lastest reliable old-gen stats based PES/WE, and there's also D1 and D2 Japanese league, World cup 2014 rosters.
Edit: J-league 1 and 2nd division PS3 only.

The problem is that i didn't find a english patch for this game last time i've checked (2014), but you will recognise players if you go on edit mode (if not check the strip name)

When i see the "old-gen" stats, the ladder seems more between 65 and 98 except for Attack/Defense, in PES 2016 for "well" represented players are more between 50 and 97...
New stats like Dribble is a mix between "Dribble speed" and "Dribble Accuracy", when Explosive power looks more like "Acceleration" than "Agility" when you take a look at speedsters

PS: i send you a PM

btw im still playing pes 2014 (ps2) and yet update stats from pesmaster/pesdb (original pes 2016 stats) that seems cooperated well to the oldgen.
Hence, stats that seems to be diferred most when i compared to old gen is BB, stamina, lofted pass (LPA, LPS), explosive power (ACCEL, DS), and their att/def prowess.

For an example in situation to update luis suarez stats, confusions arose primarily his
acceleration, dribbling speed,(explosive power 88)
response, (attacking prowess?)
SPS / LPS, (lofted pass)
SA / ST,(suarez has high ST)
teamwork, aggression and mentality (which then lead me to refer psd which seems mostly overrated to be honest).
Same goes to chicharito, muller, gabi, matuidi, verratti, etc. Those confuses the oldgen player the exact excluded attributes for corresponding 2016 stats.

guess i have to stop playing ps2 and playing those shitty pc version though

If you're sure that you have "WE 2014 aoki samurai no shousen" version? If yes, it's normal they differs.
If it's WE 2014 basic, stats are pratically the same as PES 2014.

Some links said "WE 2014 aoki" but they're fake and it's only WE 2014 normal version.
I send you a PM with some sets (and links)

And those one that Epsi reported was from PES 2014, it's hard to make a player's research in japanese
But name front are in occidental characters, you go in edit mode and check (especially for not to well known players)

But in chronology:

-1 PES 2014 out in september 2013 (missing transfers from usual, start of the 2013/14 season)
-2 WE 2014 out in november 2013 (rosters updated from 2013/14 starting season almost correct, some little adjustements in players stats)
-3 WE 2014 Aoki Samurai no Chosen in may 2014 (Winter transfers from 2013/14 season all correct and many players stats updated)

So the last "reliable" version is WE 2014 Aoki.
J-League is only present in PS3 version through

So I've got this awhile back thanks to vialli82 and I have to say, this is not reliable at all. Maybe it's the same team, maybe not? But either way, this is an asbolutely bizzare game stats wise, it is nothing but standard breaking left and right. Their old ladders are completly gone, there is insane stats left and right. Average players offensively and defensively are turned into monsters, fucking Motta is 85 def, 90 response... Very meh players are now some of the best players of all time in the konami DB and there is absolutey no consistency. X player might be rated in these new crazy ways, while y player will have his normal stats from 2014, so y player beccomes useless in comparison....and that is all over the game.

Unfortunately, this is the furthest thing from reliable due to this bizarre nature of standard breaking.
