Re: Ryan BABEL

Aye, I agree with deity about the crossing. They're very wild, but they're dangerous if he can get them between and defence and keeper, Sadly he pplays a lot on the left and it's impossible for him to be a threat on most occasions. Chris is spot on re shooting too. His power is so raw and primal, bu...

Okay guys. Are we settled on values now? No one's added to this discussion in some time, so if anyone has anything to say say it now!

Re: QUINCY Owusu-Abeyie

I think he should have *passing.. I know his actual accuracy isn't great (though it's not bad at all, very useful when he's on a good day) It's a tendency thing mainly. He really will make decent, dangerous and incisive passes in situations where he could do a Babel and go selfishly to beat the last...

Re: Steven GERRARD

Yeah.. he's not really a box to box player any more. Used stride about like a colossus. 'Never forget that villa game where he backheeled one in then battered a goal in from 25 yards. He been winning tackles around his own box, we're under the kosch... he's a different play now. Those games where he...

Hey, the question was whether someone has bounced off of Henry. Not how good an example it was or not. I delivered!

Re: Thierry HENRY | 1997-1998 & 2003-2006

Marc and I have completed an update but it seems that Marc is taking an age and a day to put the update into the first post, so I may have to do it myself. Yeah! That's what I mean. The current set of stats were irrelevant because he was being given a complete overhaul. You actually simplified my p...

Re: Dirk KUYT

Vandeach, you might note in my post I stated that. :\ Also I had the benefit of a prolonged period of time and yet more examples from Kuyt to change my opinions, but I already stated that ken said this. :D

In any case I'll test scoring* anyway. Only way to find out. -Thumbs up-

Re: Frank LAMPARD

Yeah, subjective comment there. That's like saying Riise's shots so hard he destroyed Alan Smith's entire career. If Lampard's shots were hard enough to injure people then someone would die 8 out of every 10 times he has a freekick. :D

Nevertheless, 89's fine.

Just bercause Ibra is rated incorrectly, we shouldn't ignore the rest of the ladder, Van.

Re: George BEST | 1967-1968

LOL! You should go in attributes explained so you can understand the stats. BB is not about your balance as in walking on a tight rope and staying vertical etc. It's about strength. Very misleading title. Seriously, if BB was purely based on ability to ride tackles and stay vertical Ronaldinho would...

Re: Jamie CARRAGHER

Yes I've seen Carra knocked over. :\ Newsflash... He's not a tremendously strong player, :o he just cheats like Carvalho. It's determination, dishonesty great mentality, reactions and some minorly good organisation. His style of defending is very last gasp, even more last gasp than Terry. I mean how...

Re: Quincy OWUSU-ABEYIE

My fear is he'll be amazing in this loan spell, get a big move and choke. But you're right, he has amazing potential still. It's win win for him, this move. He hasn't really got a great deal to lose.

Maybe a friend bugged his OF and sneaked into edit mode? My mate Simon once gave Oliver Tebily lightning speed and subsequently made my 1996-2004 Roberto Carlos look like an OAP.

I thought I was cracking up till I checked his values. :D

Re: Acrobatic shots - Bicycles, scissor kicks etc.

Nah, agility is probably the answer for more frequent attempts. Otherwise why does 81 ST Agbonlahor always attempt them? The lower the agility the shorter the window is to press the button, but we're talking microseconds, it all makes a difference, though. ST is about the connection with the ball an...

Re: NANI

Actually you're right about it being harsh to say 2 good games, I meant on the bounce (As we know, consistency is his biggest thing) but you're right anyway, he was good in those games and I know you're not the type to go too overboard but you still gotta give it time.
