Re: Pelé | 1961-1965 | 1969-1970

I'd like more discussion around the 99 attack before I update it as well ( Gerd Muller should still probably be the ladder leader here) but two superb posts and i'd like to see your thoughts regarding a 58 set as well . Keep it up :) I would like to see a 99 Attack because Pelé was able to bring up...

Re: Pelé | 1961-1965 | 1969-1970

Hello, again. I'm back with some ideas for 1969-1970 set, as i had promised. Sorry for the long while between posts. So, the big changes from his early 60s to late 60s/early 70s, are Pelé's transition from the action man, scoring goals, receiving balls and dribbling, to the mastermind, the one who w...

Re: Neymar

I watched the full game cause I wanted to know how he was gonna adapt and yeah he had a good second half but I wasn't impressed at all about his 1st half, he seemed so wasteful, giving away easy passes and not taking the best option. Yeah, his first half wasn't perfect, put i wouldn't really blame ...

Re: Vanderlei

If i said that i follow Vanderlei i would be lying. Don't really remember the last full game i've seen of him. But checking the Brasileirão grade, you see that Santos has the second best defense of the championship following Corinthians. Of course this is the result of the collective work of goalkee...

Re: Poll: Which Classic Club Era Team should I work on next?

It's a bit harder, but would be nice to see the great Santos from the 60s again on PSD. If you could put on your list for a possible future, i would apreciate!

Re: Pelé | 1961-1965 | 1969-1970

Very well, i'm starting a massive research on Pelé, aiming to polish his existing sets to the bone, first working on 1961-1965, then on his second, and later probably give my takes on possibles 1958 set and Cosmos years sets. So, from his first set what i can say from start is that the general idea ...

Re: Cristiano Ronaldo

I like to keep his agility the way it is, mostly because of moments in front of the goal. Sometimes he needs to adjust his body position quickly to shoot, and he is able to do it well with this number.

Re: Cristiano Ronaldo

Agree completely about both of the ideas, but i ain't so sure about numbers yet. Right now, i don't think we reach 76. Maybe around 77-79, but don't take this as final words since i haven't tested it right now. I would like to include a discussion about his Defence as well. Like someone pointed out ...

Re: Gonzalo Higuaín

Probably all of this is more a matter of opinion and football views than we would like to think. If you are a admirer of subtle football, of the game of movements, of little but decisive details, you are probably going to be a huge fan of Higuaín. I personally ain't that fond of because i like to se...

Re: Francesco Totti | 96-97 | 00-04 | 06-07 | 12-14

I would probably say that a maximum of 95 in LPA is lower than he can actually get, and there are a busload of exemples in the 25 years of Totti. I believe he can get to a full 97, for sure. And his SPA, even if doesn't reach the jawdroping displays of it's counterpart isn't that far from it.

Re: Neymar

Since things are moving around and the above conversation seems to be moving in circles, kkk (just kiding), i would like to recommend a slight raise on Balance and Mentality. Nothing drastic; i feel he can hold on phsycal chalenges better than before, or better than 72, and he seems more keen to fig...

Re: Thomas Müller

http://youtu.be/f45fFdtburw 0:36 Another trap I remember. Okay, if it's to make him a better poacher, he deserves more. I might have gone too critical lowering him to 82. Still, is it really 86? Toaad, I'm not sure about that, one day he could have SPA>SPS and the other one the other way round. But...

Well, maybe you got a point. Can you find to us three exemples of killer passes worth those values on one single match? Just for us to have an idea of watch you're trying to prove. If you can do this for three different matches would be nice!

Re: Pelé | 1961-1965 | 1969-1970

OK, but what does Attack have to do with providing phenomenal assists? Has more to do with it than big passing numbers, actually. Attack refers a lot to decision making having the ball possession, being that passing or shooting or dribbling decisions. The higher the attack number, more effective in...

Re: Edinson Cavani

So, how does this works? two mods get to an agreement and change a value, but then a third, who disagrees with their decision, simply comes and changes the value. What's the point of discussing it all, then? I actually updated Cavani myself a few weeks backs, our French mod Adrien was absent during...
