Re: Steven Zuber

He's been on a really poor form for over a year or so. Unlike his previous two years, including decent 2018 WC performances, he did really bad last season, quite erratic overall and unable to push for regular first team spot at the expense of Nico Schulz. He improved just a bit while on loan at Stut...

Re: Leon Bailey

Dont have knowledge but this 79 Dribble speed is ok? looks weird It may look weird at first, but actually tends to slow down his movements on the ball, even if he's capable of performing some speedy burst on the ball from time. His massive speed off the ball gives an initial impression that he's a ...

Re: Angelo Ogbonna

It goes beyond not being a top class defender; he's been below par and poor for Premiership standards for like two years at least. If he's played relatively often lately, it is more a matter of lack of depth in defense at West Ham, as both Issa Diop and Winston Reid have struggled with injuries in t...

Re: Angelo Ogbonna

If we based stats just on a single match, then David Martin (the emergency keeper who played that night) would have 90+ in all of his basic keeper stats. And well, that's just not the way it works when reviewing stats. Take your time checking out the whole previous discussion in this thread. It was ...

Re: Emil Forsberg

Don't you think we should lower DS a bit while still keeping his TS at mid-low 70s? Not that he cannot keep pace on the ball despite being already slow off the ball. It is mostly that Forsberg has gradually adapted his style of play by slowing down his dribbles to keeping ball possesion for a few ex...

Re: Ondrej Duda

He was really unlucky with injuries in his first two seasons at Hertha, being affected in his confidence and overall performances. Last season, he was virtually free of injuries and started to display his talent. His team struggled with consistency overall (and they still do in the current season so...

Re: Johannes Eggestein

He's not a really proficient nor prolific winger overall, but he's fairly good at pressing opp sideback and dispossesing them the ball down his flank. A really unrefined player technicaly speaking, not even exceptional speedster as stressed well enough in this set. But he surely adds some spice thro...

Re: Mateus Uribe

Was Aggresion in 85 on purpose or just a typo mistake? I mostly remember him from his short but succesfull spell at Atlético Nacional, but he didn't look as offensive-minded off the ball as Agg 85 would suggest. For instance, _fra Tolisso (Bayern) looks way more aggresive towards the box, yet he &qu...

Re: Primera División de México Missing Players & Notes

If anyone has the old set for Luis Felipe Gallegos (Necaxa): He's a completely different player nowadays. He used to be a somewhat supportive LWF, but now he plays as an enthusiastic LWB or even an emergency LB. For what I've barely seen since he had those sporadic, erratic loan spells in _ger 2. Bu...

Re: Yvon Mvogo

Not a bad keeper at all, but he has nearly no chance to play regular 1st-team football as long as Gulácsi remains at Leipzig, injury-free. He's good at stopping AND parrying shots (i.e., to divert the trajectory of the ball towards a safe place), but his handling tends to be a bit erratic and he usu...

Re: Konrad Laimer

Both DS and TW are indeed the two most obvious stats to be boosted. His control on the ball is not really neat, but he's still great at keeping/sustaining great pace on the ball by punting the ball forward a bit, or even setting a self-pass to perform a Run Around. Some time ago, Okie uploaded a GIF...

Re: Djibril Sow

Probably he doesn't need Pinpoint Pass. He's surely a playmaker, but he's not mainly focused on delivering long passes from deep. At Frankfurt he's playing in a slightly different way if compared to his spell at YB. Now he behaves as both a playmaker and an all-rounder in midfield. He's not exactly ...

Re: Çağlar Söyüncü

It looks slightly better than 84, but I'm a bit more impressed with how agile he is for his size and weigth. He surely has great response, but his relatively good agility helps him to swift the direction he's facing to turn smoothly towards the ball or the nearest opp player involved in attacking. U...

Re: Ji Dong-won

First-touch is the only valuable asset on him, but he's been crappy for ages, regardless of his injury issues.
His football agent is world-class material though. With another one, Ji Dong-won should have returned to K-League three years ago. Or playing in China or a Middle-East league at most.

Re: Dedryck Boyata

He's now at _ger Hertha. He's not an automatic first-choice player there, and he's played a bit more as a RB (to replace Pekarik) than as a CB to replace either Niklas Stark or Rekik. Stark is surely the most stable, reliable CB amongst those three. Rekik has some interesting technical skills beside...

Re: Marcus Thuram

I would add 1st-Touch Play on him. To be fair, it is more a matter of a combination of his lack of composure upfront and his good scoring instinct; his shot technique is still raw and inconsistent. But we cannot deny he has that hunger for scoring which Gladbach lacked a bit last season. Best call i...

Re: Oscar Wendt

He rarely scores more than two goal per season; he's already scored three in the current one. With Marco Rose's tactics at Gladbach he behaves as both a sideback and a winger. Nowadays, it is easy to sed Wendt adding extra offensive depth by roaming into the box, whereas he did it just once in a whi...

Re: Marcus Thuram

I must confess my initial skepticism regarding the expectations of Thuram and his move to Gladbach. But he's been fine this season so far, at least when it comes to scoring. He's fairly selfish, not really supportive with his movements, which are mostly reserved for poaching. Not exceptionally respo...

Re: Robert Skov

He's not really good playing as such. It's been more a matter of Hoffenheim manager for not finding an actual replacement for Nico Schultz in the latest transfer market and the poor form of Zuber since a year ago (including that mediocre six-month loan spell at Stuttgart). He has some interesting th...

Re: Jiří Pavlenka

Well, he's been in a bad form lately indeed.
That's why he's also lost his Czech NT main GK place in favour of Vaclik, who's been exceptional this season so far for Sevilla.
