Re: Lionel Messi

The assists, I think, is a good example of very, very bad defence. The second in particular, basically, the ball is rolling to him slowly, under no immediate pressure from defenders, and about 10 yards between defence line and goalie, and no defender even tracks the runner. It's not hard to flip the...

Re: ZICO | 1979-1982

I think there is a good argument his shot technique is higher, at least closer or level to bergkamp (95). He scored some brilliant first time bicycle kicks (ac Milan, New Zealand for example) and the famous scorpion kick, generally he volleyed shots really well and scored quite few ground shots from...

Re: George Best | 1967-1968

Is his DA really as good as or better than maradona? I don't know i think m10 could run at speed with a shorter stride eating up less space with each step, which seems kind of natural given his height (although there isn't always a correlation between height and stride length). m10 could take a real...

Got no idea why my post was deleted, I didn't break any rules. Isn't it allowed to comment on his form and whether his stats are right?

Re: Lionel Messi

The stats now are good. They are based a lot on form and his form this season but I don't think this marks the start of his decline he's just been way too overplayed. He needs a couple of months rest with very light training, because his dad told the media that Messi had told him that he felt as th...

Re: Dennis Bergkamp | 1996-1999 & 2002-2005

He could really do with a ajax set imo. Arguably he was a better player for them than he was for arsenal, he was a more dynamic forward with more effective movement, statistically not inferior to romario who was the other star striker of dutch club football at the time. He is not a 99 tech, I don't ...

Re: Michael LAUDRUP | 1985-1986 | 1990-1993

He was back at juventus in 85 86 season not Lazio. At juventus platini was a comfortably superior passer (long and short/final pass) as I think you could see by the goals he created with super accurate 1st touch defence splitting passes. Its funny how laudrup goes up to 99 spa at Barcelona, that's 9...

Re: Gareth Bale

Calling it 'overrated' because he missed a few easy chances in a single match (moreover, not really a matter of placement failure in two of them)... well, that's being a bit overzealous and old-standarish. Especially considering messi has been missing worse than that on a game by game basis for a y...

Re: Diego MARADONA | 1984-1986, 1988-1990, 1993 - 1994

Dribble Accuracy - I really cannot understand why he doesn't have 99 in this. Simply the greatest dribbler of all time. Yes he may not have the ball sticking to his feet like Messi, but I believe that was out of personal choice and it didn't make him in any way less accurate. He would touch the bal...

Re: Diego MARADONA | 1984-1986, 1988-1990, 1993 - 1994

I'm gonna cause a bit of controversy here cos some of my proposed changes are quite drastic, but I'll give some reasons... Oh and also all my suggestions are for his prime set in 86 Balance - This is a drastic proposal. I honestly believe it should be in the 90s for sure. He had one of the greatest...

98 tech doesn't seen a stretch in my eyes after watching a few games of him in the late 60s. His ball control was out of this world. i've mentioned it a year earlier and resulted in my id got banned LOL To be honest and without any offence, you've got to understand football in real life to get clea...

Re: Paul Pogba

I think hes inconsistent keeping the ball with BB. Yeah sometimes he keeps the ball using BB, other times though he fails to protect the ball well enough, kind of gets into an awkward position and ends up falling over or something or just lets his opponent touch the ball

ozil's video compilation of best passes in RM are not that impressive , he does assist a lot , hands the most key passes than any other player , thats just because of system's he played under ( Low's Germany and Mourinho's Madrid ) , i dont take anything away from Ozil , he has great vision and nic...

Been watching some of his games recently and im impressed. At first he seemed a bit immature but hes improving. LPA is surprisingly good, he can really float or ping long balls really accurately. HIs first touch has a sublime quality, and he protects the ball really well, he also has really good acc...
