Re: Michael Mancienne

Updated. Don't know if he ever was as good as previous set, he definitely is not now. Brought experience/leadership to the Revs, but I don't think they were much better with him at the back. He is cool on the ball but lacks some pace - which I think leads into his sweeperish style of holding off - t...

Re: Jalil Anibaba

Apparently in my notes he was good at *Sliding tackles in the past - I cant recall clearly so its something to keep an eye on for the future since I don't feel strongly he should have it .. like Delamea yes, Farrell maybe more so than Anibaba ... maybe all 3 should have it and there needs to be a Sl...

Re: Juan Agudelo

Updated. Erratic. Misused. Not trusted. Seen him played all over the attack, is talented and can do wonderful things, but maybe he has not been there mentally, maybe its a feedback thing of him failing to be a reliable goal getter as a forward and thus moved to accommodate others, and thus his confi...

Re: Jon Erice, Vancouver Whitecaps

I updated him a little, but I think he could be even worse in Attack (60?), Top Speed (65-64), Aggression (60) and maybe Stamina (77-78?). I did not follow Vancouver constantly and he was more in the periphery of my attention so I was middling in my changes. I found him to be very conservative in st...

Re: Carles Gil, New England Revolution

Did he ever score a free kick in Spain/England? I am not finding one and just wondering about the Free Kick Accuracy 74 - want to drop it a bit.

Re: Zlatan Ibrahimović

I mean that, physically, he looked for the foul more often. Maybe that's a loss of BB but not far as pure strength he's lost nothing. my reeading comprehension a little retarded he was pretty good, stamina is surely higher, but TS looks way too much at 83. Stamina I think he is ...

Re: Zlatan Ibrahimović

hmm dont know if he flopped too much, he scored 53 goals in 58 games and both seasons was a finalist for league MVP. I just think there was a worsening of his BB, wanted to rep that, I think its natural for a 195cm 95kg guy not to get bested physically too often since few are his equal, but to me do...

Re: Carlos Ascues

Updated. He never claimed a spot in the starting XI, part of it was down to the woes of Orlando and the chopping and changing of manager, part of it was that there was 5-6 other central mids competing. He was used once at LB and a few times at CB, but it looked as if he was better/more comfortable i...

Re: Zlatan Ibrahimović

Tech was definitely not red in his two seasons in MLS, too many screw ups of traps for him to sit red, he was still very good and probably had highest ceiling in ability to control in the league, but at 95 he needed to be more consistent with it, he never had crazy trap moments in MLS - nothing that...

Re: MLS All Stars ★

Updated to 2019 - too many players to sift through - I hear they want to make the league 30 teams..that will be like 700+ players to select from - its already very difficult to narrow down and pick one player over another into a 32 player squad. Mannone won the GK of year award, but I have yet to re...

Re: Diego Polenta

Giancarlo Gonzalez was probably the better player at defending, but Polenta I thought brought an interesting skill set for a CB that no other CB in LA Galaxy could offer. He never amazed me in his defensive work, but was solid in his tasks and very good at standing tackles and claiming the ball and ...

Re: Overall rating Algorithm - Champion's League Knockout Stage - OVR Tests

as a comment on moderator work: I was very pleased with the sets i saw in the weaker teams, they seemed to very appropriately represent 'good' players. If its not too big an ask, could you do a similar thing (minus fancy formation graphic) as above but for each player in the squad for TFC, LAFC, Se...

Re: Brian Rowe another time he almost was lobbed from distance, pattern present for years apparently that he stays way off his line...guess besides lowering DDefence I could raise Aggression like 10 points (but I cant really recall him being a high placed sweeper though)

Re: Khiry Shelton

hmm only played 4 times, not good enough for Bundesliga II either. Not much of a goal getter in MLS either, makes good runs and is okay on the ball chances get made from his efforts .. maybe nerf that heading /attack some more.

Re: Romain Alessandrini

I cant even find when he was last updated (maybe mod who did so was removed and the log wiped of the entry). So I can't say when the set was last touched. His peak was 2015? This past season of 2019 he was injured for most of it, since early season - so its impossible to comment since he played less...

Re: AFC - Players to be created

Only watched Al-Hilal 3rd place match vs Monterrey in Club WC; Jang Hyun-soo, Al-Hilal, midfielder, #20. maybe covering ability, low response CB in his engagement seems to like to run with attacker waiting for error or teammate to help crowd him out. Def below 70? looks competent but not very effect...

Re: Gustavo Bou, New England Revolution

I watched some New England in the last part of the season, Bou and Gil stood out in the team. Bou scored not only a good ratio of goals, he scored some beauties. Yes I think he could play at a higher level successfully, though I don't think any team would gamble at an "unproven" quantity n...

Re: Sebastian Giovinco, Al-Hilal

Attack 75-77; Went higher with it in older laddering, guess would be around Pozuelo's 78-77 in his last season with TFC if I were re-rating him now, maybe higher but FAR more erratic Form...or below Pozuelo and when he got red arrow for a few weeks he destroys and pumps up his goals/assists figures ...
