Paul Dixon, Grimsby Town FC

Postby PES Stats Database » 2009 May 01, 23:40

Paul started his career with Dundee, coming up through their Youth set up, and made his first team debut at the start of the 2005-06 season. He went on to play in the majority of games that season and scored twice, his only goals for the club.

He continued as a first-team regular over the next two seasons, taking his appearance tally to over 100, whilst at the same time attracting attention from a number of clubs including Norwich City and Kilmarnock, and made his debut for the Scotland Under 21 International side in a challenge match against Czech Republic Under 21's.

As Paul's contract with Dundee came to an end, United manager Craig Levein brought him to Tannadice during the 2008 close season.

Isn't he left footed?, If he isn't then he needs wfa 8 and wff 8.

He's right footed, its more noticeable when he plays on the right hand side (which is why I've given him a 7 for WFF). He's very good on both feet, and along with up hi weak foot stats I've made some other changes.

I might start another argument again, last week I was talking to a mate of mine and he was convinced that the free kick against Celtic was on his left foot, I remember Russell Latapy hitting dead balls on both feet but I'm still not 100% sure if Dixon is a righty.

The free kick was on his left foot.

He looked pretty solid in his international debut against Serbia. ;)
