His acceleration looks a little bit low, he's certainly quicker off the mark than an 81 implies, I reckon it could go up two points. His shooting stats worry me a little bit, I'll start with shot power, he can really smack the ball and a 79 just doesn't show that, he could certainly sit on an 82, if not one higher. His ST is also too low, he is known for his ability to score wonder goals, ranging from chips and dinks to volleys and acrobatic goals, again a 79 just does not do him justice, he should probably go up two points to an 81. Curling should be about 4 higher and response could come up by two.

He scored lobs in League One, his ST isn't up to scratch in the championship and a ST of 79 is fair. Also, he doesn't strike a ball with power, prove to me that he does.

I think his response is fine, As is his Curling.

He's fast but not that fast off the mark.

How can you say his ST isn't up to scratch in the Championship? He's played 6 games for West Brom, in one of which he scored a goal which was a good example of good ST, if I remember correctly. You're right in that he only scored those goals in League One, but that surely merits more than a 79 for ST! There aren't a huge amount of Simon Cox videos available on the internet, but I can assure you a 79 for SP is too harsh, even Ruud Van Nistelrooy sits on an 80. Again his curling, I can't really find video evidence to support it, but he can curl the ball really quite well, I certainly wouldn't say he's below average in this area and for response, think of how well he anticipates long balls forward, and his timing of runs isn't as bas a 77 implies.

I'd personally lower Balance to about 77, I don't think he's that strong. Up Response to about 79, Shot Technique to 80/81 and Curling up only a couple of points to the 76/77 mark.

Still, good job Paddy.

I've seen times where RVN has whalloped it into the net. I've not seen Cox do that. I know he can score lobs but he isn't all that great at it... The only one I can remember was a bit lucky with the goalie being a mile off of his line. I've given him a 78 for balance because of his weight which is quite low, so I've given him 78 to counteract it.

Also, I've rated him as a 77 for Response to make him one less than Luke Moore.

I've seen Cox give the ball a good old thump, an 81 for SP is hardly over the top. Also, myself and Softy have agreed to a higher ST and Curling, so can you change it please Paddy?

But I don't agree to it. I'd like to see what Chelseakid thinks so the can be a greater majority or a greater opposition.

He can most certainly curl the ball better than John Carew though. :D

Ishmael Anthony Miller only has 71. Raise his before Coxies. Ishmail definitely strikes a ball with a close enough value to Cox, and anything over a 3 point margin would be unfair.

Surely that's more of a case of Miller being underrated, isn't it? Miller could definitely sit on a 74/75 type of value, with Cox on a 77/78.

Do the updates so. At least I'll be appeased by Miller being updated.

I really don't think an 81 in ST is overrating him, especially when you consider his volleys, chips and lobs where considered among the, if not the best in League One.
