This player is the Championship's most underrated defender, he has strength ,aerial dominance and a brilliant reading of the game. I'd raise his balance to about 88, his strength is exceptional and is massive brick wall in defence. Furthermore I'd also raise his stamina, for a centre-back he does a fair amount of running and is quite comparable to someone like Jamie Carragher or Nemanja Vidic in this aspect, I'd have his stamina value at around an 85 or an 86. Lastly his mentality can be raised, he is a true fighter constantly hounding down opposition strikers and giving them a real hard time, this value could come up 1 or 2 points. I'd also lower his shooting, passing and technique stats.

He is a brilliant defender, probably my favourite Championship defender, I always thought he was Premiership quality, and never understood why Alan Pardew rated James Collins as a better defender.

You'd be in for a treat if you get him, he is top drawer, I may even raise defence and response a point.
