I dont like him as defender but he puts really good energy chasing his mark at high positions but his qualities as defender are meeh imo Zules seems better than him but Blasi looks a bit more organized to play as a unit so Azconzábal prefers that.
Isnt a fast guy neither technically great but Union doesnt have another defender on the team besides Galvan, Nani and Vera (who is a player from young division too).

Dont know why Franco Calderon is not starter, clearly is the best defender on the team.
