what a nice surprise he has been, pretty constant in his game, good team work, inteligent to get upon the field, nice all round passer for a defensive mid, and a great tackler, i'll leave some numbers when tournament ends, i like him a lot, nice player.

the changes i have for him in my OF

Spoiler: show
Attack 63
Defense 71
Stamina 83
Response 79
Short Pass Speed 76
Tenacity 75
Team Work 81
Form 6
ATK Awarness 2
DEF Awarness 3

Good player, calm in hard situations, not a tireless chaser like braña,he's more about been close to the play, more discret, earn rebounds, has a decent tank in him, solid ball winner but physically he isn't impossing which it's a problem , pretty good movement, and not really dumb when team attack, as he fill spaces and move to receive whenever the team needs him to do that

I almost not saw him, but in the game against San Lorenzo seemed really agile, more than 82.

In the rest I don't have idea.

Well as Lucas said, he isn't like Braña, he's more calm and patient to catch the ball, more positional and a good tackler, likes to "see the game" and wait to the last second, deserves 71 in def but 78 in resp is perfect to him, even in some games doesn't showed a good response, just decent. I'm a little disagree to raise his form and men, he doesn't showed a good level all this seasson, I'll be more conservative to raise his form, and the actual value in mentality fixed very well in his game. His tw could be better than 81, not a drastic raise but 83 looks better for him.
Also his first touch doesn't seem as the actual value says, he can't control easily the ball give some bounces, I don't want be harsh with him but 78 looks high for him

Yeah, his agility is great but there's something I've been paying attention and it's in his passing. He seemed me to be a great passer, I find this player really similar to Cirigliano but he fails a lot of passes, usually due to poor decisions. He tries to do impossible stuff in the ball instead of play the ball easier, opening to the side or whatever. Imo he's capable of making great passes but he fails a lot, also his poor sps doesn't help at all.

Off the ball work like defending, covering or support when on possesion he's better than cirigliano(specially in the first two),technically and in offensive moves cirigliano is better,BTW he can put pace on his passing but when he does it are mostly unnaccurate passes either overhited or clearly missed.
IMO Estudiantes best player in this start of the tournament, already has been captain with players as important as Desabato and Veron playing with him.

Yeah, imo too. He's the key of the good performance of the team, he ran a lot in the games of he played, covered ALL the pitch, is amazing his sense of location/positioning and mostly of times took really good decisions in att or def, sometimes Veron seems to be the DMF and he the CMF.

Shit i meant Resp 77, sorry for the miatake. I tqke back the sps suggestion, he rarely displays more than current ATM. His DEF has ben higher than 71, more like 73 (he showed even more in some matches). agree with paablito 'bout Tw ep bc, probably tw might be slighrly higher than 83 but i think it's enough with 83.
Btw, it's incredible and weird that he has played with 3 different styles of players (veron, damonte, and on the rare occassion when martinez plays as cm too) and Gil romero managed to maintain a great level while changing a bit his development on the field depending on the player, it's not the same his offensive role and how much support he does to the defense depending on the partner.

Paablito, i think you misunderstood what i wrote about SPS, I meant that he didn't needed an increase based on the "final" cause he stop using it, playing just safe to the closst guy around with no range on them, before he used to use it cause the spaces were bigger so he had to do it faster; so his acxuracy fluctuated a bit too much

He is really solid with his long ball distribution when he actually uses it, but the fact that he rarely does it and prefer short simple passes with a good through ball here and there really restricts his long passing game, which is pretty good IMO.

I don't know why i've never posted in here, gil romero vs newell's (final 2014).
Spoiler: show

It kinda shows how he plays more or less, great ball winning and great movement all over the pitch, just look where can he appear to recieve the ball.
