Well, slowly he's improving.

I think we can already talks about some attributes, so I'll start.

I'll begin with Mentality, 75 is a little bit to harsh on him, 78 at least I would say. It might be in 80s in the future, but not yet. He's hardworking, but yet to soon in the yellows.

On the contrary of Lucho and Meireles, he's the type of player to run with the ball (a mini-version of Gerrard) and he's agile. Maybe we could switch Agility with Dribble Speed (just trying to not overrating). I'm considering putting him reaction, because he tends a lot to run into the box, but for now, I just putted 79 of agression.

To conclude (for now): His shoot power could be upped 1 point (like was before in the old forum) on the same level of Raul Meireles and 1 point higher than Lucho.

I agree there, updated but DS is 80, I think 78 doesn't make him any justice.. he's quite quick with the ball ;)

I think he diserves more in shoot power, free kick accuracy and curling because in Colombia national team he shows more than in the club and he and Vladimir Marin have the most powerful shots. Also the outside the boot star.
Look his shoot:

He has rarely played for Porto so we should just keep the stats of someone who has watched him more.

He doesn't need to prove that he got a excelent balance, he's very strong on the ball, and you don't need to see him playing regularly, just watch some times he touches the ball.

He's a more energetic player, and his overall impact in games is bigger than those stats suggest, though I agree we must not be too generous on him because he is still very young. What I would definitely like to see is his TS drop, I think 80 would be better, he is not fast without the ball and in long distance. Future suggestions would be DA, Technique and a Mentality raise. And I'm pretty sure he is a bit better in the air.

da_ni wrote:guarin played today his best game, by far, since he joined porto...his jumping should be improved, maybe to low 80's, and his SP too should be improved...one or two points (maybe 88 as B. Alves :?: ). he sounw today why J. Ferreira didn't let him go this summer..let's hope he can keep this up!!

True!, Guarin is very talented, and has a very VERY Powerfull shot, 87 is ok i think
