From what I've seen of him the Konami stats look more realistic but I don't see him every week.

This is guy is a beast in game with this set of stats.

I agree with your statement, I haven't watched him much on a club level since Bayern, but I really don't see him being this good. However, on the international seen I can't see him being this fast.

For the majority of last Bundesliga season Podolski was outstanding and that's what his current set reflect. Now that he left Köln and is out of his comfort zone again he has to prove himself on an international level. If he's going to be able to perform at the same level in England as he did last year for Köln Arsenal's fans will praise him in awe. If not everybody knew it right from the beginning.^^
Give him some time to acclimate. Many players need some time in a new league.

Yeah i cant tell he has been bad, quite good tbh. Minor thought though, are his short passes that good ? Premature surmise but I see konami's more fitting, simple passer, striker range and speed, underhitted when he required such, decent accuracy, mostly back passes, however reliable...The actual gives him a spectrum of possibilities that i havent see on him yet. Everyone claims for higher short passing for Kagawa, but rather than that, i think many players needs decrease, being Lukas one of them( maybe dzeko sps too )

yeah, I agree with your statement especially when expecting the new PES2013 in which I feel that Konami changed passing a little bit in a way that the range between a good and a bad passer has become larger.

that free kick  guess it was a sporadic case ? Now with so much matches at the same time, I didnt managed to see him consistently though i still cant see his SPS, however maybe spa is fine

I never took attention to his Condition value (7), but for me it looks kinda generous.
Even if he did OK for Köln in his second spell for them, he wasn't exactly a consistent performer.
I mean, he could score braces or hatticks, but then spend a run of scoreless games.
He's more a 5.5 to my eyes (I know I can't rate him with decimals, so I'll suggest 6 then).

For me, that was almost pure SA, placement. And he is a class in shot placement.

He is very direct, agressive, corpulent, powerful. He plays a lot of 1-2's, first touch passes, etc. He has showed a nice DA and TECH.
Just for what i have seen, for me is a 80/84/84 in agi/da/tech, but looking on some other posts, he is quite inconcistent in this and other things.
He has a good understanding with his mates (except inside the box), especially with Gibbs and Cazorla.

I agree with you about lowering Condition by 1 point to 6 though I don't think you should rate a striker's consistency based on in how many games in a row he scored, especially when he's able to play so much positions.

yeah it looks like a free kick shoot, but messi takes them similarly and does that matter for his rating ? no, because even if his free kick technique is an anomaly, he is accurate. Podolskio free kick had a nice spin too: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xtmlnb_south20_news

And I too have seen greater DA, when he goes mad on penetrating runs with the ball he shows trim control.

I have suggested COND 6 like two weeks ago, so i agree with it. In Germany, he has showed that has a free taker ability that rarely uses but its effective. If you follow a whole season from him he can score like 3-4 goals from that way. Nothing bad taking account that he isn't the first choice most of times.

SP 92 is fine? Guarin have 88 and his shoots look more powerful than Podolski or maybe the same but a 4 points of difference is huge considering the cannons of Guarin...

I hope this Post had.nothing to do with mine.. If not then I want to point that I just responded to a sp downgrade suggestion...

Ps: i want to hear your opinion on jenkinson and arteta suggestions of mine.. Especially on arteta I put a lot of work on finding stats and stuff and i really hope in some alterations since his style of play and role changed drastically since he came to afc and grew in this role indeed...

What is his position at Arsenal? LMF, LA, SS or even AMF?
