In recent weeks he has proved that he can score with headers, without having to leap from the ground.
I'd raise his Heading to 74 or even 75.

This guy's a bull... he mostly wins physical challenges and deserves higher balance.
Also i dont see his passing being that poor, they tend to be kind-of well placed but too fast and ends up being a lost ball.
I suggest:

Balance: 83-84
SPA: 73-75
SPS: 74-76

83 for BB and a critical decrease in TS and Acc. Something like 82/84 or less. I know he has nice skills but he never uses nothing to not lose the ball. A shame for NT he only recieve and touch back. Nothing more.

I think he still deserves 87 for ACC and 85 for TS, he has lost some agression indeed but that's cause of the position he's playing at, where he has to defend more but he had some good runs versus Peru for example where he beat Revoredo by miles, or in Copa America where he also clearly beat a 81 ACC 84 TS Giancarlo Carmona.

Glad to see him back in the EPL.
Unfortunately with Wigan he seems to be destined to return to the Championship months later. :P

Just wondering whether or not he could deserve the Incisive Run card in order to better replicate his tendency to stay touch tight to the wings. This could be more to do with Wigan's actual overall playing style than his own game though so i'm not sure..

certainly key to wigans style, with their 3 man defence, they don't have the width of fullbacks so need the wide man to stick wide to track the opposition wingers and to drive forward

Isn't his agility a bit high?
TW for me also must be a bit lower...

In Chile, he plays in LMF in a 3-5-2 (one man per 'side') and his style is make vertical runs with the ball and cross, like a pure winger i think, but more conservative and defensive minded...

His current stats represent him when he played as a WF, his main position should be WB or SM nowadays. Also you could add SB as an alternate position as he played that for his NT.

Attack: 77 -> 76 , Well, he should have main position changed, but he still has a good positional sense while attacking, managing to get behind defender's backs MANY times (whenever he's not staying behind and just passing back, he waits for the right time)
Defence: 53 -> 56 , he has a good tackle and recovers many balls, he also plays in a more defensive position at Wigan too (edit: just noticed KONAMI gives him 57, coincidence?).
Balance: 82 -> 83-84 , he's really strong and wins most physical battles when he starts running down a wing, i actually see him a bit higher then Milner (83) and Malouda (83).
Response: 80 -> 77 , not as sharp as the good old days, also adjusting to new standards.
Explosive Power: 86 -> 83 , 86 was too high, but he's still realy agile. His main tool for beating opponents was his acceleration and physical prowress not agility or DA.
Short Pass Accuracy: 72 -> 73-74 , 72's way too low and he doesn't have that much of a bad pass.
Short Pass Speed: 71 -> 77 , he can really put some speed on his passes, it's just that with his bad accuracy they end up going 2 far from his teammates in both NT and Wigan.
Shot Accuracy: 73 -> 68 , Bad shot, good ol' Beausejour (i can even see him in the 69... didnt sound good)
Shot Technique: 79 -> 70 , 79? I've never seen him have such a good shot, nothing above 76. Actually i thought his shooting was one of his worst traits.
Free Kick Accuracy/Place kicking: 78 -> 68 , WTF? I've never seen him take a free kick, let alone have him score one even as a joke in practice.
Header: 72 -> 75 , I believe it was suggested before, his header is not that bad and he has scored with headers. (At least... 5 times minimum)
Mentality: 82 -> 78 , His mentality is not the same as BACK THEN (in his golden era 2009-2010), he seems to fight less and less, and that's why he dropped in mentality and stamina (stamina at 84 is fine, but BACK THEN he deserved at least an 86).
Team Work: 80 -> 77 , not that much of a good understanding with his teammates, adjusting to new standards.

Defence awareness: 1 -> 2 , Both in Wigan and NT he defends alot, don't know why he had 1.

Would anybody consider S07 - Shoulder Feint Skills for him?

edit: Hmmm, LMF main position, Why the FREEKICK did KONAMI give him AMF as 2ndary?

I agree with BB, he is a strong player and can sustain a lot of pressure really, most of the ball dispossession comes out of his lack of control (i don't think he is on par with Vargas DA at all which may be underrated but he is not even better than Vidal on this matter) and not so great turning movements which sometimes can't be compensated by his body built, i am obviously talking of a dead ball situations here, i'd go even further to put 79-80 AGI and 2-3 points higher on BB just to be more practical on his long runs and showcase that part of his playstyle while not giving him too much of high numbers on the rest when he barely shows it consistently.

About FKA, i don't even remember the last time he ever shoot one, i don't follow him so much but i kinda take for granted that he may be not really worthy of greens.

TW could be even 77 or so he stays more on his position rather than be on every play their teammates make.

On a side note i think is fair to say he may get slower, but, i think he doesn't lose a bit of speed while running with the ball (DS), he is pretty good on that, could be higher, not sure how much though.

cheers

Not the same player at all, needs a general downgrade in everything. Except attack, i dont know why its in whites. He is dangerous on the wings.

Attack: 74 -> 75
Dribble accuracy: 82 -> 80
Long Pass accuracy: 81 -> 79
Place Kicking: 78 (pls) -> 68
Response: 80 -> 78
Explosive Power: 86 -> 83
Top Speed: 85 -> 83
Acceleration: 87 -> 85 (this pains me so much..)
Tenacity: 82 -> 76
Form could be 5.

I also think that his attack shoudn't be on whites, on the WC, the few minutes he played, he did create some danger, not much more, but I think he shouldn't have 74, even 75 would be ok imo

Gonna make some tests before switching it.
Any feedback regarding the rest of the general update?
