I'm guessing the Curl suggestion is based on his FK goal? Not sure...83 is a good value :?

I was actually getting him confused at times will Sanchez in watching them. There definitely isn't a huge drop off in the agility and acceleration b/n Sanchez and Pepe. Not sure which values are best. (but I likely wouldn't lower Sanchez)

these are my idea, but i'm not firm on them

TS 83 ACC 85 AGI 84 DS 84

what i'm sure about is that he needs and increase (even small) in at least some of these stats ;) he was called up more than 1 time in the NT lately because he was in form, and good also (form isn't enough for the italian nt :P)

TS and ACC can def go up, but not too much, I can't really recall seeing him beat anyone for pace :? The others I'm not so sure about. There's nothing special about Pepe really, I think his strengths lie in his decent dribbling and direct play. Also he's good on the side lines and hold possession well. Aside from its pretty mystifying how he's in the NT. Perhaps because there's a lack of alternatives :?

Yeah, I also don't know what Lippi sees in him. He had some good patch of form earlier in the season but he's not better than quite some Italian wingers/strikers.

I can talk hours and hours about our CT. Nowadays Lippi is a poor CT, he called only friends of him (for example 2006 world champions or normal players like Pepe) or juventus players (legrottaglie and iaquinta...i was shocked when I read his name). He doesn't like young players (like Marchetti or Santacroce) but prefer old and ended players (Perrotta is one of them). BTW Pepe will not stay in NT if Lippi will call a player named Cassano, but he hate him and we will play with the normal Pepe :(

Tbh, I can see why Lippi did not choose Cassano; he's a pain in the ass to handle in the locker room and could easily disrupt the team cohesy when he's not playing.

What I don't understand though is constantly playing either Gilardino or Toni up top, whom both have shown they're not really effective when it comes to the NT. Why not give others a chance, like Quagliarella?

Man...I haven't watched the match vs. Brazil yet....but I really don't like Quagliarella. TBH Di Natalie is the only Udin striker I would start. I think Luca Toni & Gillardino are really tho only top level CFs they have to choose from. To me Quagliarella & Iaquinta are a huge step back.

well, everyone wanted him back and now we have it :) no complaining... and i still think that callups don't mean SO MUCH in the end... like he'll probably call cassano or/and del piero for confederation cup and wc... the problem with them is that they don't fit his formation well :( but he'll probably do not bad, so why bother.

i don't see anything too special in pepe too, but he's also a nice player... of course italy should only have exceptional ones, but who knows :)

I have to say his current stats work nicely in the game, but he deserves a bump in ACC, TS and AGI like you suggested. I'm finding hard to come up with numbers for TS and ACC. For sure TS should be higher, he picks up speed as he covers ground, but what values? I'm leaning towards ACC: 82 and TS 84. thoughts?

he doesn't slow down though. Maybe we switch TS and ACC. Not convinced he can outpace Lichesteiner or Iaquinta.

During the qualifiers i noticed that he is more explosive and agile. Also noticed that his passes aren't that bad(assist to Pazzini and overall good performance while 10 men against Ireland).Maybe he knows that people watching him, because he's called instead of Cassano, and has to prove himself to Lippi who trust him.
So for me ACC+2,AG+1,SPA +1

I actually didn't mind Defrenz suggestions except for DA. I think he is more quick than fast...but who knows. All we can do is compare him against his compatriots....Di Natalie is now injured....but Sanchez is a good person to compare him to. I like Sanchez's values ;) And I think you are pretty confident in your Floro Flores stats.
