are you sure he's already in the elite section concerning defence?

well... Gilberto Silva has 81, Miguel Veloso (NT Portugal) has 76 for defence... its a bid surprising that a CM/DM is already that highly rated :?

i thought because his similiar to gattuso but 82 would be too much for him...but he was not that bad like vukojevic who has 76 so i thought 79 would be ok for him as he never scored a goal for independiente in 50 games the last two seasons ...

Gattuso is an experienced Ac Milan regular and probably one of the best in the world. The fact that Calello is "similar" Gattuso doesn't mean they are on a similar level. You suggest here that this guy is as good as Ambrosini and better than Flamini.

And how many goals he scored has nothing to do with defence... scoring goals = att/SA/ST/Agg.

you gave him 68 SA and 71 ST which is quite generous for someone who hasnt scored a single goal in his professional career yet

sorry i think you misunderstanded what i mean, I just wanted to point that because maybe of his defensive posture he didn't score a goal...

79 for Defense?
That's Worldclass for a DMF;CMF!
I doubt it

Age: 22

Weight: 75

Defence: 72 (-3) two under Vrdoljak
Balance: 78 (+1) one pair with Morales
Response: 77 (-2) one under Vrdoljak
Agility: 81 (+4) 77 was too harsh for him, deserves 80+
Dribble Accuracy: 77 (+2) one above Lovren
Dribble Speed: 77 (+5) 72 wasn't fitting him at all, he's got nice speed when he's in possesion of ball
Short Pass Accuracy: 77 (-2) above average, nothing more
Short Pass Speed: 75 (-2) see above
Long Pass Accuracy: 74 (+1)
Long Pass Speed: 72 (-3)
Shot Accuracy: 65 (-3) bad accuracy IMO,but not that bad still
Shot Power: 80 (-2) nothing special
Shot Technique: 67 (-4) same as accuracy
Free Kick Accuracy: 64 (+2) little raised
Swerve: 68 (+2) same as above
Jump: 75 (-1) deserves green value, nothing more
Aggression: 66 (-1)
Mentality: 78 (-6) there's no way he deserves 80+, when he loses the ball, often doesn't chase
Injury: B

He worked on his shooting quite much. He scored his last two goals from a nice distance, so I'll still think about to what raise his accuracy and technique.
But in the meantime, we can raise his SP to atleast 81.

I'm so happy for him. When he emerged from Independiente, coachs didn't give chances and now he's in Serie A...I know in a relegation zone team, but he deserved an improvement in his career, I always loved his style.

He's exactly the same player I remember in Independiente, crazy at response, great ball 'stealer' and with a good 1st pass. I like him a lot and he could bring up some good things to this Quilmes, specially near Braña.

that value in response is perfect for him always looking losses balls, trying to catch them, but hardly i can see that value in defence suitable for him, his technique to defend isnt too good, he is good as dmf because he is constantly jumping to every ball and using his decent strength in 1-1 to maintain opposites out of his goal.
