Not sure if I've mentioned before but he shows everytime a better DS. He isn't that type of pure DMF that just carries the ball I've realized, he crosses a lot of metres with the ball usually using a really good pace, similar to Camoranesi's, can watch it without any doubt near yellow's. Awesome no. 5, he gives all from himself, a real leader...also showed a good shoot in that penalty, he is a good shooter indeed, better than current numbers.

Note against Newell's Old Boys _arg.
Showed a good long ball with accuracy and speed more than nice.
His short passes in very good, especially the speed like 1-touch pass, Nice response, always won the loose balls, and never was late by a few fouls. Great physical wear, for time seemed "box to box", especially in the second half. In the final minutes did a great dribble (with luxury included as CR7) and then sent a nice cross. Also makes a great pass to the heel, but the play did not prosper. Showed a great dribble, especially in the second half where haggling anyone player who would get the ball. He played as DMF, but in the second half seemed CMF, SMF, AMF, SS... He had a decent game, he became the captain when was replaced Valeri. My rating for him is 6.5/10.

Vs San Juan, Independiente, Tigre, Argentinos, Unión & Rafaela. Is doing a great tournament, he excels in the team because doing the dirty work. But it is essential for the team. Many of the counterattack are born on their feet. His short passes are very good especially the SPS. His RESP is insane, many steals almost always without making fouls. His TW is also excellent, always moves to combine passes, is never static. Every time he has the ball at his feet and needs to make a dribble, he does excellent with high quality and accuracy, and sometimes luxuries. Their passing game is also very good, both in the header as jump, as often usually wins in the box opposite. He is the team's DMF and clearly one of the best in the league.

a shame he had many injuries here because when he played, he was the boss in the midfield showing crazy mentality and was great doing tackles, catching many balls covering every meter of the pitch and covering the back of his mates.

since this post he didnt have any injury and was almost impossible to overpass from his position, crazy response, amazing mentality and fighting spirit, playing virtually alone in the midfield because ayala and r. martinez are more involved in attack, decently good in his passes even he has enough confidence to make long passes to acosta and benitez. Btw he looked more slower than his prime, but probably is by he isnt 100% recovered from his injuries.

here in huracan is playing like shit, is a shadow of his level in Lanus, still he is the only reliable n°5 in the team and probably with a good pre season could be a boss again.

well, seems he need it a good preseason, or at leas those two matches played like a boss again, being aggresive, safety in defense and secure in his passing or probably now is better surrounded with bogado and m. gonzalez and doesnt need cover a lot of mts in the field? dont know, because in lanus played alone in the defensive zone and just was impossible to overpass. For sure doesnt need cm position, probably that value in att is to much since a while and needs a decrease, now he is not much involved in the end product of the game as well as his speed on the ball, he doesnt cover much mts with it.

watched the same today vs SMSJ, imo he had a good match being realiable in defense situations and making coverings here and there, slow but intelligent to be in the right place, also he scored a great goal using his header, crazy accuracy.

He is just a damn boss, amazing how defensive reliable became, he leaves that attack role he has in the past to be more concerned in the defensive role, doesnt speed that much speed on the ball, he aint cover a lot of metters but his intelligence and response is amazing everytime.

His game vs Sao Pablo was madness as usual on him. The team had a pathetic attitude playing really close to his own box but he did a great defensive job playing like an enforcer and helping to Ruiz to build up from the deep, his first pass is really good not at all the accuracy the range of those passes are great to break lines. He is a pretty complete dmf.

He is playing really well in my eyes, being safe and great in the midfield covering a huge amounts of meters helping in defense or in attack. He is doing a great effort to be in anywhere to makes coverings or trying to bring up some football from his position.
Despite of i really like the set i think he needs sligtly worse valuesin ts/ds/agg to make him more prone to cover less spaces with his speed, he has a great eye to make interceptions but his speed is clearly worse, especially on the ball, i saw him walking mostly of the times. He change a bit his style from his Lanus and Huracan days, now s more "positional". Other value that make me doubts is his att, his intelligence to be dmf is clearly higher than the average but not sure if he deserves that value, almost is near of mostly of the smfs/wf here in afa and his intelligence/level of danger isnt that much.
Also i think his form must be higher, 4 is enough for him to compensate his set and not be in god lvl in the pitch.

Well i did a pending update here mostly in what i being talking in the last posts, he is still great at his eye and the last year was really great. Btw i have doubts if he needs 74 in def looking leaders and that kind of things, but is more o less there the value that he should have.
