He's had a mixed first game, he looked like a white TW for most of it, but tbf he was played a little more forward than he's used to. He's also showed incredible strength. He brushed off everyone who took him on.

Well, the truth is this guy is doing really crap job in defence so far. Seems like it's really easy to dribble past him, he's always behind his player, just seems like a total mess so far. I am not his fan at all. His cheap foul on Nainggolan lead to Dzeko's second goal.

Much better today with Kanye back and fabregas as an attacker, clearly a B2B CMF

Interesting update, was more inline with how I felt of him at Monaco, but is his DA/tech really this good? I always saw his touch as heavy footed and awkward.

I feel the same, but I did not want to touch those values until I was a 100% sure.

Even at Monaco, his first touch was decent at best. Even his DA looked pretty average, he had some decent dribbling runs there and there but IMO most of his success regarding these came from his physical power.

There’s no way he should be much over Kanye technically, I’ve argued In favour of higher for him to no avail but seven allowing for the fact kante like yoda and bakas like Vader, there’s a difference between them. Also on separate note glad I didn’t touch fabregas passing now,

I was thinking the same, he certainly never gave me the impression that hes better than Kante techincally. Kante is limited technically, but hes much tidier and smarter within his limitations, not wasteful.

He looks utterly overwhelmed from what I've seen in a defensive role this season.

I'm watching the extended highlights vs Watford and has 2 mistakes that lead efforts on goal, one of them he plays a watford player on goal! And then a crap touch makes a loose ball that leads to his second yellow on 29 mins.

Rex your a prophet.

Hardly a prophet (altough i needed a grand total od 1 game to see how shit he is, proof on the previous page) he's been absolutely shit all season long. Really embarrassing, his set could easily be destroyed even more.

His teamwork is the highlight of his idiocy though, he's so clueless.

Woah, thats really hasrh on mangala. This guy is complete and utter shit, mangala actually has some qualities. But this guy is flat out, terrible. I just can't understand why he came to chelsea, monaco had a completly shit midfield, and that was largely part to bakayoko, who looked like he didn't know how to play football, in the french league. Hes so fucking heavey footed, just absolutely abysmal.

He's basically a bulldozer who pretends to be a footballer, one who wants to trample anything on his path when roaming into the box. Sorta 1/3 of Júlio "La Bestia" Baptista, much worse on almost any simple aspect of football.
