I am an Ancona supporter, Da Costa has been the goalkeeper of my team for two seasons before going to Samp (in truth in the first months of 2008 Sirigu was the number one). I think I have seen about 50 60 matches of Da Costa from 2008 to 2010, live and on TV.
I can say it is completely true that he is a penalty saver.
He has very great reflexes but he is not that good technically. I would say 87(also 88) response and 80 GK skill would be more accurate.
What's astonishing about Da Costa is his accuracy when kicking long balls. It is incredible, every Ancona supporter can say that. Before matches or in training he always tried drop kicks and he could easily pick with no margin of error a teammate who was near the opposite box.
He is the classic "feed goalkeeper kick" of old PES.
He deserve the last drop kick motion style (the one of Rogerio Ceni, typical of south american goalkeepers) and a very high accuracy and power in long passes.

Consider now he is the number one at Samp instead of Curci:

If you can read Italian it says "Curci, from starter to bench warmer"

Nice to see Ancona's Fans here :D
In my set, Da Costa's response already up to 85 aswell the Agility goes to 81
But still, lets wait for Ron, Epsi, Zuo to update the thread.

With this set hi is doing strange errors in game and hi is not doing those errors in real life :) . Imo, some values may be corrected a little so he will not have problems with catching ball etc.

Well, actually this set could be even generous for him... probably the weakest link of the team..

GK long throw is a MUST for him. I don't have a video but he is a classic south american goal keeper with a precise long kick.
