I have as much respect for his knowledge of the Italian football, as I do for Thomas's of English football.

Plus, both me and Ron asked lo zio's opinion and thoughts of Poli, and he responded very thoroughly.

I currently put him on par with Cigarini, and 1point below Pastore. I debated putting it at 84 to be safe....but then went for the ballsy 85

hey leave ron out of this  Not sure about some of the numbers, I wasn't convinced he was this good. I would lean more towards DeFrenz stats but maybe i wasn't paying attention. Good to have Poli onboard the PSD-train tho (Woo-Woo!)

I watched him very closely vs Lazio...

Here ae the values I think I got right:

Agility: 80
Short Pass Accuracy: 81
Short Pass Speed: 80
Technique: 85

Team Work: 83

Special Abilities:
*Outside
*Centre

Here are the values I'm not so sure about:

My Notes from the match:
*CMF 16 Polo - good effort in def/def positioning is nothing special/not slow/good tech(underlined)/good in att/*outside?/quick feet in tight dribble situation/decent agg/res ave?/good read on loose ball/good reaction defensive deflection/puts pressure on ball/good tact drib move/possibly DA in the 80's/good attacking run off the ball

i'm pretty sure that DA is currently badly underrated, imo he's at very least in par with Marchisio @ 81, but they both could go up

Notes vs Fiorentina:
Poli CMF - good run on ball in att splitting 2 defenders/LF shot just wide/shot not all that well struck with LF/decent AGI/nice touch/not slow res/couple of good play in def/really slick play on the ball/
He looked great in this match..but so did most players on Sampdoria

i noted a something higher BB at 181x70,also was able to get aerials on Totti a couple of times(+1 cm,-12 kg,-5 BB,both white JMP) .....and probably a WFF 6, he really love to use outside for passing, and when dribbling uses pretty most the right foot.

He's been arguably the reason (along with Cassano) as to why Sampdoria are pushing for the Champions league.

He only manages one half of good football before fading off and subsequently subbed off for Tissone.

This is true, but many times he does the hard work in the middle and needs to be subbed cause the last 8 matches were derbies and the midfield needed a fresh player(obviously Tisonne) to keep the opponents. Most of the times we had the lead from the beginning or mid-second half(Juve-Genoa etc..).
What about his ATT/DEF ratio and BB.Imo he is a little bit stronger than 77...

hi everyone
this season i've watched plenty of sampdoria matches and my opinion is:

Attack: 72 (he quite often goes into the box, but rarely inds the right position to receive the ball)

Defence: 66 (he's developped greatly here, and this year he never played as a AM, but sometimes as a DM)

Dribble Accuracy: 79 (he easily manages to dribble past the opponents, though he gets a bit stubborn when he wants to dribble 2/3 opponents then losing the ball)

Mentality: 82 (together with palombo, he created an impenetrable midfield couple this year)

How is he performing this year? Looked so promising the couple of times I saw him play last year! Is he in the starting 11 this season?

think he's just coming back from injury but not sure. whatever the case, he's a talented young player, whether or not he's performing this season.

He has played 2 matches this year.Against Metalist as a starter and as a substitute against Inter i think...He will help very much.Tissone is not as creative as he is, even though Poli was solid defensively last year in the final run against all the big teams.Lets wait and see...

his DA needs surely to go up, i'd go with 80, his close control is rlly decent and his dribbling ability is better than Ambrosini's for sure ;)

Maybe one of his best matches today against Juve.I am considering 1-touch play as i count for sure 8-9 succesfull passes today. We also have to reconsider his defensive play. Now that he has matches in his feet after the injury he seems more mature than last year and more responsible while defending.Did you notice than in the last matches he fights and challenges effectively with the opposite midfielders?Just like Sissoko today who is 10 times stronger.I also notice that he is not getting tired too much nowadays.
About dribbling i have to say that he is better in terms of accuracy than speed.I suggest to swap values in this section..
