just as an info I remember Klopp mentioning he might even get a deeper role next season ... has been tested in one match against West Ham last season if I am not mistaking ... not to necessarily say he can't play as SS (not sure where he plays for Brazil) but he might be used deeper if Liverpool can hold on to him

His ideal position would be in Iniesta role back in that Pep system when Iniesta used to drift wide quite often and go on those dribbling runs through the middle, thats what I'm expecting him to be at Barca with possibly Dembele coming as well to fulfill that LW position instead of Neymar.

And yea, he's no SS or LW, never, he was always that AMF that justs drifts wide because its easier to exploit defenders on the side than through the middle.

Why are you so convinced he's going to Barca?

Agreed he's better in the Iniesta role. Him and Messi are too similar to play either wing imo, Dembele would be a much better direct replacement for Neymar. Honesty I don't see Liverpool selling this summer, next summer quite possibly if Coutinho asks for the move.

No one did more goals in PL from OTB in than him since he joined liverpool, that's a crazy fact. Besides that I see like his ST is a bit low taking into account some great shots that he did. I suggest an increase in that stat at least, taking into consideration that we are in front of one of the best middle shooter of the world

yeah I actually wanted to point out that he really tries a lot ... would be interesting to see a more recent conversion rate but as it stands he is also the player that tries the most ... and the conversion rate isn't spectacular

He's regularly playing as an SMF for Barcelona, maybe it's a bit too soon but it's worth considering adding this position.
Everyone knew it was impossible. Then came along a fool who didn't know it, and he did it.

fucking insane, hes getting so damn good at shooting now, basically been god tier with his shots at barca, has massively improved in his shooting consistency this year, went from something like 25% accuracy to 50% (not exact numbers)

Trademark shots from Coutinho with a lot of curl in it. Scored a couple of them this year.

That's really some lovely progression from him, it always was a part of his playstyle (at least, for as long as I've been watching him) but before these days he used to send a lot of these balls straight into the stands.
