He played most of the season as DM because of Augusto's injury. He showed some good performances as well. I think defence should be a bit higher.

AM needs to be removed. Also his passing could do with a slight downgrade. I think he was much better a passer a couple years ago, not sure what happened to him, he's just nowhere near as precise and that did translate into the amount of assists he has given. Can't say it's all his fault, but he was clearly better before. Nowadays he has however shown to be really complete. I think his ATT / DEF ratio could do with a little balance, he is not worthy of that 80 ATT. Something around the lines of 75-76 could be better I Think, mainly because his attacking contribution is better translated due to his decent shooting ability IMO. Something like 76/71 for ATT / DEF would look pretty good in my eyes.

gotta say I find the LPA harsh, hes still got something very special in his long passing and I don't think it's replicated with a value this "low".

It used to be 90 due to his great 2013-2014 season, but It is true the downgrade was mainly due to his poor set piece kick taking during the last few seasons. He's imo not 90 but maybe he could have a bit higher, even if it's only to contrast with his SPA.

I think it was 90 but I'm doubting now. He may very well be worth it and there is no question he was at one point so I can't see why he couldn't be back at it, but I'd like to wait and watch him next season, a key one I believe. I can update him to 88 for now?

Btw being picky, perhaps he could have +1 in STA (93) seems more suitable, i'd say he's closer to reds than he's to plain 90...I've even considered reds, but it's hard to tell. Also response could come up a little bit, 80 feels a bit too low, and he does deserve a more than decent CM value here.

I think he's exactly what Spain lacked between 2013 and 2015, during that nefarious period on which Spain won and yet seemed so shitty and vulnerable. We do have Busquets, a UNIQUE anchor man with just the quality to belong in this attacking system, but Koke brings something Spain hasn't had in recent times. The balance, the effort, the tactical awarenses...Koke may not be going through his best form, and it's been almost 2 years now, but he's still such a valuable asset. I do believe a perfect midfield requires at least a player like Koke, someone who fills the gap between the attacking and the defensive midfielder, the one that doesn't excell at anything in particular but their effort. I think Koke does play better for Spain than he does for Atlético, and it is perhaps due to the lack of build-up responsibilities. Don't get me wrong, he's an excellent playmaker, a great long passer and he is a regular scorer for such a position, he was box-to-box during his earlier days too...but at this moment, regardless of Koke being rather 'stuck' in his development, he's still what every single midfielder, regardless of their role, wants: balance and coordination, support and commitment, without forgetting an undeniable quality. Undisputed starter since del Bosque called him and Lopetegui still keeps him as a key man in spite of his low form, and as weird as it sounds, it does make A LOT of sense.

One of the worst players of Spain NT and of the entire WC (Mascherano got his place in that team too). I'd always though he was overrated. Yes, good tactical awareness, but a player that can only play an horizontal pass. When the team needed guidance, he kept playing that annoying passes, again and again. I disliked him badly and feel so disappointed about Spain after the Lopetegui drama than it's almost a dejà vu of what Argentina NT make made me feel yesterday.
