Seems like a solid midfielder. A bit stiff but can pull out a good pass, and also a solid set piece taker. Good signing for Norwich defo, but the main man today was a new CB Zimmerman, tall, strong, solid and seems like a great tackler so far.

Very good tackler, eager long ball player, and with high positional awareness. This player is a very sturdy one for Norwich and papers over some of the holes that otherwise exist in the side. He is less skilled attacking than what this set has him at (I am not familiar with him before Norwich so that very easily could've changed since he moved). I rate him as quite well balanced with something like 67-68 att and def. Response is fringe yellow too as he makes a living praying on loose balls which he then sprays wide to get the team surging forward. Dribbling, he is significantly more simple than this, with the same being true of his short passing abilities. He is in the 76-77 range for da, spa, and sps, and ds dropping down closer to 73. His long passes are well driven and I rate lps at 80 with lpa remaining the same as current. He is a smart player that does a good job at retaining the ball and not wasting possession. Got a good eye for getting involved in a goal or providing an assist as well. Solid player that definitely has done his part to ensure that Norwich remains title contenders for the duration of the campaign and will be a good rotational piece in the EPL for a side looking to have more depth that most teams that are promoted and subsequently struggle as a result of poor depth.

I might have misspoken about him to an extent, or rather covered him first part of the season before he turned it on at the end of the year to another level. He plays very irregular minutes due to the depth and quality of the Norwich midfield, but he really can make some good decisions on the ball. What I am seeing upon reviewing the final matches of the season is a guy who is sort of slow and awkward looking, but quite skilled on the ball, has a heck of a free kick, and rather unique in general. He was moved up the pitch instead of just occupying one of the deep roles and was given more license to get forward, where he showed this quality that he wasn't able to in the deeper and more restricted role previously. McLean or Trybull next to him helps liberate him to do what he can do going forward. I still see the attack-defense balance where it currently is and would only take a look back at passing and shooting accuracy reverting to old values if he keeps this up in the EPL, lower speed (73 ts and 74 acc seem plenty).

Here I will be continuing to build upon and leave notes on his abilities:
https://youtu.be/AsX0ESG-wfM?t=1034 stoppage time free kick goal to bring the sides level at the death on an excellent hit
https://youtu.be/6nUj-Sck16I?t=188 another late game goal, this time for the win after coming on as a substitute
https://youtu.be/v6hhn4bTeNc?t=241 comes on and plays two minutes and comes up with this game winning assist on the nice slicing pass
https://youtu.be/uA9qGNWf924?t=185 good through pass to keep the ball advancing. He doesn't take the ball and dribble or use speed, but he always keeps play moving by smart and fast decisions
https://youtu.be/Whkgxr3I8Tw?t=24 good pass to switch play and set up the assist
https://youtu.be/Whkgxr3I8Tw?t=47 good tackle to win back the ball and then (slowly) drives forward and gets Pukki a goal
https://youtu.be/Whkgxr3I8Tw?t=165 he is very far from a physical specimen, but has nice intercepting and pass reading abilities
https://youtu.be/33VUBqOYhlg?t=58 here again is him just serving as the fulcrum for a 1-2 pass
https://youtu.be/oIKDVjx-JR8?t=117 really well placed strike from open play after finding a pocket of space
https://youtu.be/noBGu0CINd4?t=35 another free kick goal
https://youtu.be/__4_ijHMV_w?t=392 very good delivery for Pukki of course making a signature run through the defense and not being handled properly (Ashley Williams defending so of course it wasn't going to be an example of good defending) and flicking the ball into the goal
https://youtu.be/4OY5r3UmqPU?t=36 pushes the ball on again while under pressure and the end result is a goal
https://youtu.be/4OY5r3UmqPU?t=120 I see why Eternal Night had the shooting stats where he did after his late season surge. What a hit!
https://youtu.be/4OY5r3UmqPU?t=206 very nice through ball
https://youtu.be/WStAvdEKoPU?t=247 another really well hit goal

He put on a show against Spurs and came away with a goal and then had an assist called back by some of worst VAR decisions yet. Seriously, Spurs did not deserve the free kick they converted or having a goal against ruled off. Anyways, Vrancic hit this amazing pass to Pukki and fully deserves his old technical values. Would like to have it back these:

Attack 71
Dribble Accuracy 82
Short Pass Accuracy 80
Short Pass Speed 78
Shot Accuracy 68 maybe? Value now seems fine though, but he can hit them well
