He will join either Wigan or Wolves. I reckon that will be Wigan.

£1.2 Million... Thats a bargain. Definitely one for the future. I doubt he'll be guaranteed 1st team football with all of Jordi Gomez, Ben Watson, Paul Scharner, Lee Cattermole, Hendry Thomas, Jason Koumas and Michael Brown all being there already.

Obviously. But if he is truly a prospect then I don't see any problem of him beating them in the future. I reckon Michael will be the first victim.

Much better, at least it's got one of his new team mates in the pic with him, Michael Brown, damn vicious animal

Anyone got any thoughts (avansweater?). From what I've heard he's been pretty decent over the second half of the season.

I added S06 as the conversion from *Outside, does he need any other cards?

These suggestion are based on mainly on McCarty's time at Hamilton and the few times i've seem him play at Wigan.

Attack: could come up to 74 usually when the team are on the attack he usually manages to find himself space in or arround the box. Personally I'd rate him a 75-76 based on his time in Scotland above the likes of Fletcher, but he hasn't justified a value like that in the EPL yet.

Defence: 64 does drop back to help out defensively if required, or covers for watson when he goes forward.

Top Speed: 79-80 Looks faster than a 78 and no slower than Ben Watson, and has been played on the wing at times for this reason.

Agility: 82 he's not less agile than the likes of Bullard and Fletcher, about level with O'Hara seems right.

Dribble Speed: 79-80 doesn't loose much speed on the ball.

Short Pass Speed: 81 Always generates decent pace behind his passes.

Long Pass Accuracy: 77 His alround passing game is great for his age not just his short passes and a 73 isn't really a fair value, his long range passes usually find their man. Sitting level with Lennon and Sidwell seem fair.

Long Pass Speed: 83 Othertimes they are slightly over hit, such as his recent attempt to find Melchiot against chelsea.

Aggression: 79-81 Plays further up the field than a 76 would allow. He usually is played just behind the striker(s) from what I remember, also bombing forward when able. Similar to Stephen Ireland in this aspect.

Team Work: 82 Has always been a team player and will look to pick out a pass to a teammate over trying a to take on players himself and usually forms a good understanding with the players arround him, such as McArthur at Hamilton.

I'm not sure if these suggestions still represent his style of play, due to still settling in at a new team and whatnot, so any feedback would be great.

I think those recomendations are pretty good, i also haven't seen too much of him besides a few games (Liverpool & Arsenal) but he seems to have had a really encouraging start to his Wigan career thus far.

According to his official Wigan profile he's also grown a little.

Height:180cm
Weight:72kg

I'll be keeping an eye on him as he's essentially made the AMF role (behind a lone forward) his own for Wigan, but i think at the moment his attacking values could definitely do with some increases as no more heroes suggested. His Height and Weight definitely need to be updated though.

Attack : 75
Defense : I'm actually not sure about defense, as bar a 1-2 point increase i feel it's pretty accurate at the moment
Top Speed : 80
Response : 79
Agility: 82
Dribble Speed: 79
Short Pass Speed: 81
Long Pass Accuracy: 77, definitely underated in that regard
Long Pass Speed: 80
Shot Technique: 75
Aggression: Don't want to overrate this too much, but i think 79 is pretty reasonable
Team Work: 82

If Messi/Ronaldo/Iniesta/Villa etc had scored that goal it'd be all over this forum right now
