It seems that I was somewhat conservative when rating his passing stats.
Maybe his short passes lack pace at times, but he's usually the one who creates danger with his incisive passes to assist either Embolo or Gashi. Kuzmanovic plays in more simple way when it comes to short passes, but they are way faster than Zuffi's.

I'd say:
SPA: Zuffi>Kuzmanovic
SPS: Zuffi<<Kuzmanovic

That said, I'd boost SPA to 83-84 for Zuffi while lowering that stats a bit for Kuz, 80-81 at best.

Strong candidate for player of the season in the Swiss League. He's not the ordinary lethargic playmaker, but he give nice supportive movements off the ball, besides being a wonderful passer and tempo dictator. His shots are also pretty better, either through long shots or free kicks. Swerve is the stat which needs the most significative boost...

Spoiler: show
Header Accuracy: 65
Dribble Accuracy: 82
Short Pass Accuracy: 84
Short Pass Speed: 75
Long Pass Accuracy: 80
Long Pass Speed: 76
Shot Accuracy: 70
Place Kicking: 80
Swerve: 83
Ball Control: 82
Body Balance: 72
Weak Foot Accuracy: 3
Weak Foot Frequency: 3
Teamwork: 82

Add Talisman
Add Passing
Add Playmaking

He's really useful anywhere in midfield, showing class either as DMF or AMF.
I still think he plays his best football as a deep-lying playmaker (CMF or DMF).
Personally, his tackles and overall defensive effectiveness looks even better... DEF is worth like 65 or 66. But I'd still keep his Aw with 2/2 to let him focus more with his role of a playmaker, just supporting in both phases but not nearly as intense as 3/2, 2/3 or 3/3.
I guess he's very likely to play EURO for Switzerland, so let's see what he can do at the tournament.

Now plays mostly as DMF, with some games as CMF and AMF from time to time. Swerve is definitely around 83-84. That's mostly what makes him a menace from long range shots or free kicks, even more than his Place Kicking or Kicking Power.

He's even slower than this off the ball, I would say.
And he's not that bad at defending, regardless of his deep-lying playmaker (regista) role.

He has a nice battery of technical abilities indeed, but that doesn't mean he cannot mark nor tackle properly.
It is a shame that he still plays in a mid-low profile league, but he really has what it takes to succeed in Serie A or Bundesliga, for example.

I would suggest something like
DEF 65
TS 72

I was somewhat dissapointed to see him out of EURO 16. Swiss NT just had a bunch of engine/box to box CMs, and Granit Xhaka was the only one with some abilities of a playmaker. A player like Zuffi would have been rather useful in some games. They struggled to have scoring chances at times, and I think Zuffi would have supplied that problem, dictating tempo and giving that magical key pass that they missed.

He's so slow and weak, but his creative abilities to orchestrate the game are way too good for Swiss League. Basel really struggles to make scoring chances any time Zuffi is absent or in bad form (like against Ludogorets last night). I think he needs some boost in DA and Technique, but his overall speed stats (mainly TS) have to be nerfed down even more.
