From what i saw during WC U20, this guy is a very powerfull striker and he's a worker too, covering space. He showed good things back to the goal, i agree with a high green value in Tech & DA, but he's not bad at all in SPA too.
I hope he will join Europe soon.

Good job, now, to complete it, you can edit the first post and replace the stats with [player)16967[/player) - obviously with proper ] brackets. ;)

I have some notes I took after watching a bunch of Espanyol matches and highlights.

He has potential but is veeery unrefined, virtually all his technical skills need to be polished a lot, they let him down many times and deny him quite an amount of chances. He's still young so there's still time to fix it.

Other than that he has a really powerful physique. Fast, strong, good stamina, etc. He's not exactly "weak" mentally, you could say he's tenacious to a certain degree.

Changes I'd make:

- I'd go for a slight tone down is most technical stats. Dribble Accuracy to 77, Technique (BC) to 76, ST to 75 maybe. Also Header looks a bit high, 76/77 is what I would give him. Not huge changes, just slight readjustments that should highlight how unpolished he is at the moment. Also his long passing plays virtually no part in his game, so I'd stick to konami's 67 LPA and give him something like 65 LPS.
- Then I'd upgrade some of his physical stats. AGI to 77 (Konami), Dribble Speed to yellows (82, more or less), Top Speed to 84 at least, Stamina to 83, and Jump to 84 (Konami). He's a very physical player and that should be highlighted as well, as I was saying previously it's what really defines him at the moment. He's really difficult to stop or shake off the ball when at full speed, Malaga's Weligton had trouble against him, with Córdoba looking superior to him in both strenght and speed (and that's quite an achievement agains Weligton).

I'd also upgrade Response to low yellows and give him *Reaction instead of *Post Player. He could use Dummy Runner as well. This season Espanyol has played a lot with Sergio García as a somewhat static CF with Córdoba behind him doing forward runs all the time. So he should have the SS position too.

PS: Mentality should be higher as well... nothing too drastic, 74 or so.

yeah, he is unbelievably quick and strong. very important for Mainz in the offensive, he opens space for his teammates and can hold the ball awesome good. But his Scoring sill needs to improve. BB 88 and TS 87 in my eyes, also small TW boost, he isnt a selfish

Lack of TW is not about being selfish, but more about being lethargic. That's a pretty old misconception which is gradually fading, fortunately.
Nevertheless, I agree to a certain extent. He is a little bit similar to Lukaku: Powerful, fast and an attacking threat when inspired. But Córdoba is not as lazy-ass as the Belgian... I don't think he's this agile though. He looks more around the 72-73 values for EP.

He's been soooo bad since some years ago; I cannot believe Köln took him as a long term replacement for Modeste. His strength and his shot power (which is closer to mid-high 80s imo) are like his lone two traits as a forward player. But he's not this fast, nor nearly as agile as this, and I'm tempted to take his TW to a much lower extent. Also his first touch is utterly mediocre, almost as poor as his countrymate Duván Zapata. Form... Being generous, a 3. He was an unrefined prospect at first, as Korinov said years ago, but he never really polished his abilities any further since then.

It seems like he finnally stood out and make his presence in Koln really useful. 21 goals this season between 2.Bundesliga and DFB Pokal. Of course is only 2nd division level in Germany but seems like he is way more confident than before. Hope he can show the same level next season.
You might have been a fancyman in Heaven, but down here you are nothing next to Axe!
