Is he really moving to _fra PSG? That's really surprising and great at the same time. Didn't see this coming, great great talent. Another Boca's youth divisions AMF who hadn't space to play (countless list).

"United expected to receive a formal offer of around $10 million, one person close to the talks said. If that figure had been put forth, the MLS team was prepared to accept it.... PSG offered $7 million, raised it to $8 million and suggested making up the difference if Acosta met incentives. United, the source said, balked. At that point, PSG walked away.

Acosta — who had traveled to Paris overnight for what he believed would be a career-changing move — was described as being “upset” about the talks breaking down." -- WASHIGTON POST

Earned ~600,000 USD last season, I'm sure it was a multi-million dollar contract, I wonder how this will affect him that it fell apart at the final minuet, he was in Paris to take the medical. Will he play like shit in his final year of contract, will he re-sign to DC who supposedly want to pay ~10$ million/yr for 4 years.

Think this was cuz Neymar got injured, so he will be back before Acost'a contract is up, I wonder if another European club will have a look at him, since only till now Al-Ahli offered 7.5 million.

Can't believe P$G really squabbling about 2 million USD, are the oil reserves drying up?

Probably you'd add Roulette and Step On Skills, i've started to notice that he used these two in a regular basis in the last season.

I tired to save a classic version for 2018 but the feature is not working at the moment, so I'll do it in the future.

Sort of what I feared would happen did happen, he kinda fell off this season compared to last, I still think he is a better player than he was in 2017 ish of what I could gleam from footage, but it was either that PSG thing falling through (heard that maybe PSG manager did not want him and it was the PSG board making the move and the manager stopped last minute) or his relationship with the head office of D.C. United deteriorated and how they maybe wrangled too long for a higher transfer fee, and afterwards tried to get him to sign a new deal. Anyways psychologically he checked out in various parts of the season, and turned very petulant on field, as before he was fighting hard on the ball to keep possession, now he more easily dropped and would want a call, but nothing came and he would fume, at Dallas as DC trailed 2-0 he lost his mind and fouled young Paxton Pomykal and as Pomykal fell he trampled on his face with his shoe purposely (red card) in seeming frustration of the match.

Maybe in the last month or so has been featuring less as a starter, since there was some long stretch that he had not made an assist/generally struggles this season or there was some other less public reason.

Just more sloppy this year compared to last, in his passing/touch/dribbling, the concentration is simply absent. Heading is a surprising good point for him, scored another and another off the post - when presented the chance he can climb and head a ball. Endurance too seems to have worsened, seen him barely able to jog near 80th minute, just lacking fitness, hands on legs bent over for air AND THIS IS WHILST HE WAS DEFENDING A DRIBBLER! So maybe contract expiring he just ate a few more ice cream tubs with netflix and few less late night jogs.

The guy just needs motivation it seems, he had it last year as the team got much better than in all his time there and got a real home and he played with "Senor Wayne", felt he could really showcase himself and finally get that dream move abroad, when it did not materialize on the final day of window and his contract nearly up, guess he is not motivated to sell himself to admirers anymore - I mean they got youtube right? I guess that's his thinking?
