Glad to see him back at an impressive level for a month. Having a concurrent with Mbappe for the starter place seems to makes him stop being lazzy.

I'm not sure if it's worth keeping his LPA at 94, it's a part of his game he really toned down IMO and this season he's been acting a lot as a false winger. Less crossing/long balls, more cutting inside. Maybe we should have his LPA closer to 90, his crossing doesn't look as consistent as this. His decision making regarding this declined a bit, a lot of his crosses are not as incisive as you'd expect.

He's having a really great game against Real tonight. Eliminate a lot of players, showing lot of movements and energy, scored even twice. Again, like almost all last 6 months last season, he's showing he is PSG best player (except Mbappé). At least he's the one you know he'll keep playing nicely on important games like UCL is for PSG.

I gave him higher numbers for ATT and MENT.
His shot placement isn't crazy and his passing clearly isn't as impressive as his prime years (where he was borderline reds for LPA), as well as a slight physical decline (though his stamina is still impressive) but he's producing so much nowadays. Scoring and assisting, turning up during big games somewhat consistently.
Last season he assisted 17 and scored 19 goals in 45 games, pretty impressive especially since he got some of those during big games, and he seems to be on the same pace this season.
He's basically assuming Neymar's role. He doens't have the crazy ratio Neymar has but became consistent and reliable throughout the season and on big occasions.

With last games I would even go further but of course might be wrong. I'd say psg looks even better without mbappe/neymar and with Di Maria as a leader/creator role. Especially that others players where moving a lot and not be lazzy. At least Di Maria is involve in team success and neymar and mbappe looks more involve in their stats or own success wich sometimes make the team less good. I hope their prove me later I'm wrong anyway.

It's funny how he became better and better years after years at PSG. He made great game last night again. Decisive without Neymar/Mbappé. The second goal is pure class.

Di Maria, current technical leader of PSG when Mbappé and Neymar are out. His game against Nice where he scored twice:

Another great performance for him where he scored one goal and deliver three assists against Bruges.

This outside pass was very good:

What a match that he had against Leipzig. Besides scored a goal and provided two assists, he's incredible today. Completed 4/4 take ons and create 5 chances. He showed some great close control, skills, and creativities. It just like his left foot has a glue. Brilliant.
