I don't believe in 'should' or 'shouldn't', i don't give a fuck about that. He played several times in his position, and he had a good form until jan/feb i think. But that
doesn't matter for what i try to say, tha fact (for me) is that it's embarrasing the way in how he tries/wants to appear loyal. He just isn't, and probably no one in football is.
All the players want money and success, and i don't find it necessarily bad. Ahm, sorry for my english.

Pass to Schurrle to make it 2-1 to Chelsea.

Entire build up to the goal was well executed, Goal of the season contender already.

There are a couple things i want to bring up to date in his set, his da, speed, tec (i can't remember the reason why it was ever lowered to 90? people talk about raising neymar and hazard when fabregas is easily better then both in this regard yet sits on 90?)

This statement below is still very much true.

Regarding TW... it's difficult to say, his supportive movement has left a lot to be desired since he has joined Barça, he's had a lot of trouble at adjusting to the system, and only seems to be comfortable in the field when he's playing on a more advanced position (AMF/SS). He simply doesn't seem to be suited to perform Xavi's role.

At barca.. it was like cesc didn't even know how to move. Therefore he was often lost and stuttering, struggling to understand choices of position or where to support.

Back in england again, it's more like the old cesc, total dictator who influences the entire teams tempo and rhythm. He's the one giving orders, conducting plays, and plugging holes as the director, and he intuitively knows this role, it's his instinct and where he thrives.

I think something like this is more representative of bpl cesc, the true potential cesc.

slower, less explosive, almost never attacks only for the sake of attacking, cesc is playing to move the team into advantages over the field, to not waste the ball, he very rarely tries any adventerous attacking passes, it's all about moving to support his team, and then playing the pass that lets his teammate make the dangerous pass/dribble. Of course when he's in the position to make the assist or dangerous pass he doesn't fail, but he isn't focused on that moment, rather the moments before that chance arrives.
If you don't put effort into your post, i won't put effort in my response.

agree about the set ,He showed riduculous tw ever since his debut with Chelsea , and as you said he's doing there what he couldn't at Barca ,simply because there is no one to compete or interfere with him or his supportive movements , he doesn't even have to think about which spot would be more suitable to support in anymore . (the instinct you mentionned)

As for tech , i've always been saying he was superior to the likes of Pedro in that regard, but there was no further discussion.

When asked if playing in a deep role alongside Nemanja Matic was his preferred role, Fabregas was emphatic: "Yes, 100 per cent. 100 per cent," he replied. "I feel more in control of the game, I touch the ball all the time, I feel happy, I go and get the ball from here, from there, I can go forward, Oscar drops deep. I feel free, I feel confident, I feel in control and that's what I like the most in football.

"Sometimes in the last three, four years in the national team and Barcelona, I was playing like a number nine. I mean I have to do it for the team and I enjoy, and it's all good. But, here, where I am playing today, it's where my football I enjoy the most."

So, add DMF and make CMF his registered position. Absolutely AMF is not his favorite position, furthermore he plays in this role very rarely now.

Exactly, also i think his SP should be 80, he shows the same power in his shots than Costa.

I've been really impressed by the accuracy and vision shown with his long passing. I'm not a regular watcher of Chelsea but he has probably looked tad better than 90, better than I've ever seen Modric show anyway.

it's pretty well known cesc can't keep himself going all season (http://i.imgur.com/x3nKj3Z.jpg), 88 stamina seems really high for him? ofc he is inconsistent too but when he regularly disappears in the second half of a season there must be a fatigue issue. even during the early season I don't see Cesc displaying much of an engine over 90 minutes. also I don't really see much clean control at all from him, Barcelona showed he doesn't function well in limited space and he practically never dribbles at Chelsea.

stamnia 84
dribble acc 85

and maybe his long pass accuracy is slightly underrated? every game I'll see at least one ridiculous lobbed through ball onto a runner, he's crazy good at them and it's always been his main weapon.

Form 4 or even 3. Nothing more. He is way too inconstant, starting from second part of last season.

Things to be considered for lowering:

Defense

Physical attributes - Top speed, Stamina, Dribble speed.

He isn't mobile much, really.

Why 87 DA? This number putting him like a real dribbler...very generous for what he shows at Chelsea. 85 at max of max

Conte's gone mad, playing on counters against Watford with Cesc in the team while 1:0 up, cannot understand that. It seems much more logical to control the game until the HT, then sub him for Christensen with Luiz playing in the mid if you want to sit and wait, which is fine, but not with Fabregas. Defending, not very compact. Deserved goal for Watford.

Think he needs a downgrade, his passing has got a bit worse, no need to be on ranges, he was never a high yellow for long pass speed, and not sure hes worth such a high atk anymore
