I've also found Behrami to be more efficient at ground (short) passes than this, i would suggest SPA: 77 [+1] SPS: 76 [+2].

What do people think?

Agree ;). I'd also like to raise the point of mentality since Zola has arrived Behrami has really been working hard tracking back and closing down opponents and giving them a really hard time its a big part of his game.He could easily have 82/83 for mentality.

Edited his height and weight, it's a -1cm/+7kg difference.

Rodney Marsh: "Crikey Alf, at Manchester City all we get is an orange and a cup of tea."

what a performence from him today, if he keeps up that level of work rate he'll need a raise in MENT, based on today's performence he would get an orange....MOTM for me

Behrami had the record for high intensity running over 90 mins in the premier league last season IIRC (or maybe he got the record for one game) so maybe we could increase his stamina?

I'd also give him better stats on tackling, maybe lower on attacking.

He needs to be able to play Centre Mid as well

And who was the person who originally wanted to increase his mentality? :D

I agree with you, he covers a fantastic amount of ground per match and has a terrific work-rate, I'd actually put his stamina bordering, if not on an orange value, as well as a 2/3 point raise in mentality. I haven't really noticed his tackling being a particular forte of his, do you think he could qualify for the sliding star/card.

His slide tackling has been something i have noticed as well, the sliding star is certanly a conceiveble option

I'm not sure if I would say it's slide tackling.. He doesn't go to ground as much as say scotty parker, Mark Noble or Rado Kovac.
It's more his tenacity and biting away at people's ankles. He's basically a high energy midfielder who's decent on the ball and runs like a loon (he was a cross country and long distance runner in his youth and could have taken that up apparently)

Oh, then I obviously misconstrued your post, I thought you were talking about slide tackling, and that was why I stated I hadn't really seen that as being much of a skill of his. What you're describing more comes under the mentality stat, which needs a raise anyway. ;)

I could probably see a raise in his DA too, nothing major, just by one or two points. He just seems to have better ball control than those on 81, and would sit nicely at either an 82, or an 83 for DA.

admittedly he doesn't slide tackle that frequently but he does they tend to be well timed and win the ball, is DEF 63 and RES 80 high enough to replicate that?

I can honestly see him sitting on an 87/88 for Stamina. 88 would take him level with Steve THOMPSON, Graham ALEXANDER, Michael BROWN, Scott PARKER, Luke YOUNG, Matthew HILL, George BOATENG, Gareth BARRY, Nigel REO-COKER, Matthew ETHERINGTON, Yuri ZHIRKOV, Wayne BRIDGE, Hérita ILUNGA, Shaun WRIGHT-PHILLIPS. I think he covers no less ground than these if not more, he never stops running  . I particularly remember a game against Aston Villa away on 17th Jan where he deservedly got MOTM and literally covered every blade of grass for the full 90 minutes. I think he deserves P10 Box to Box as well for the reasons stated above. :)

P.S. Also needs *CM as he's played there a number of times in a 4-5-1 formation
