Almost good set for a start, but I think his balance is bigger than 72... Maybe 75

Also, his passing is amazing for his age... Maybe you shouldnt put it higher now, but passing special ability would be good...

He like to come forward, so I think agression 85 would be good and also his shot is much better than this... He is already one of the 5-6 most important players in a club...

Here are his best actions from this season, including one of the best La Liga 2016/17 goals

I could be agree with you regarding BB and shooting (shot technique) but not in AGG. With 78 AGG he is one of the CMF leaders of La Liga in that aspect (and he should be).
About passing, he barely tries sharp and vertical passes. When he played as AMF he liked to receive between lines and carry the attack transition showing great DS for it, so 75 SPS I think It's appropriate for now.

We should start thinking to give him the SMF position, because Marcelino is using him there, left on the first match on the season and right on the second.

He is faster than this, has a good ACC and TS, maybe 80 and 81 could be ok for him.

He is now standard and amazing on right SMF position, yesterday against Malaga he was incredible, two asists, and few more great actions... Also, defensively is very usefull, he does all that he need to do...

Incredible performances that he is having playing on the side. Sincerely, I didn't expect so much from him playing out of position. Hope he didn't get injured.

He is faster than this. Probably TS 80-81 and ACC 82. Now he is playing as SMF in both sides and he shows that he isnt slow at all. Also, if he keeps delivering such sweet crosses, he will deserve a higher value for LP and Swerve.

What a diamond Valencia has in this player. He has a lot of talent but he also shows a high level of hard work without the ball, helping his SB to defend the side.

I'm agree with 81 TS but he isn't that explosive to deserve 82 ACC.

Give him some tweaks, btw.

His grades must be reconsidered again. Starting with his speed and then passes which are really low comparing to his abilities.

Update with my take on this guy. I'd like to get some feedback tho, as I've explicitly paid attention to this guy to attempt to update him. I think he's a pretty active midfielder, good ball holding skills, excellent long passer and a most reliable short passer, even offensively (I updated him to 85 and brought him down to 84...wasn't too sure on him having 85 yet). Technically sound, he can shoot but he prefers assisting most of the time.

His Balance has to be wrong. I mean, he is nothing special in that regard, I even think he is under the average in a CMF and with this value he is on par with people like Calleri, Yeray or Gabriel Paulista. I see him more in the 77 region, on par with someone like Mudo Vázquez or Beñat.

I have updated Mudo and Soler both almost simultaneously and I did ponder on BB, I think Soler is a low physical contact player but a good strenght on the ball player. TBF those stats separated make more sense, I just tried to adapt both to 'Body Balance'. I'd rate Soler around 75 for physical contact and 86/87 for strenght on the ball. He could be lower BB aswell, no problem with that, but that was the logic I followed. Like, strenght on the ball helps with holding the ball big time, and Soler is clearly superior to Vázquez, who regardless of his insane skill still goes down extremely easy. Another example would be Isco, who is clearly not strong yet he finds his feet easily when on the ball, allowing him to hold posession. In comparison, Mudo would be more of a 'Malicia' type of player, trying to win the foul instead.

Any insight on his speed? He's looked quite fast against Jordi Alba, not sure if that case was an outlier or not.
Everyone knew it was impossible. Then came along a fool who didn't know it, and he did it.

Should we change his main position to SMF?

With Marcelino, it was the only position he would play. But with Celades, he will get chances playing as CMF in a 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 formation, with Coquelin as stopper and Parejo and Soler as CMF. Rodrigo and Ferran would be the WF.

His original position was always CMF (not DMF), liking to appear in the box from behind. He is not good to play as DMF in a 4-4-2, because he is too mobile and likes to go forward, and isnt a good playmaker or defender. But as CMF he could shine when he was brought to the first team, under Voro.

In any case, this guy is a good mix of work ethic and talent. Lets see how he develops this seasons.
