disgusting injury, but united is playing better without him IMO. They get more creative in final third when he's out of pitch and not every ball and action is directed to him. I hope that he'll get better soon, but that he'll not be in Manchester by the next year. Hope that Rashford can explode and fulfill his huge potential.

Weird but i look him more agile that when he was in PSG, lookong his moves around this season and how he develops his play in area and in from of it, will suggest 74-75, take in count his H/W.

His ego is still intact despite moving to MLS https://www.telegraph.co.uk/content/dam ... width=1240

Says he came to win and not about the money. LA Galaxy had their worst season ever last year, bottom of everything - MLS is very competitive, so they can finish higher now, but I wonder how much impact he can bring and how long he will last. Drogba came over at same age and was still very good, but did not care to struggle with the artificial turf present at many stadiums and refused to play at times to preserve his knees. I'm really curious how this will pan out.

Says he came to win and not about the money
. Kinda off topic but isn't his salary like 5% of what he was earning in England? Read as much somewhere.

Google says the renewed contract he had with United had him at 180,000 GBP/week = 9,360,000 GBP last year OR 13,231,764 USD ... apparently he will earn 3,000,000 USD for two season .. so it comes to more ~11% of what earned in England.

My point was more that MLS still has rep of retirement league where players get a last paycheck (Schweinsteiger is earning like ~ 5,000,000 a year, though playing well, Gerard and Pirlo did not care and added little), I watched some of his interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIGBBy7lAkk he want's to "to conquer the US just as I conqured Europe, I'm pumped". I am curious how this will translate and if he can actually be a star. I can't think of another top forward to play in MLS like him - Robbie Keane was with LA Galaxy but there is a gulf in talent...Drogba had not held his level as high as Zlatan has. Even if he is slower now, he should still be able to impact the league, LA Galaxy get a bunch of youngsters running around him, let him use his strength and link up play, he *could* be a monster still. I just want to see what will come of it. Is the drive still there.

I realize if he really wanted money I am sure China could give him a Tevez pay cheque.

It's also in my mind that Gignac of Tigres has been labelled the best player in North America and maybe in all of the Americas (including Brazil/Argentina)..a forward garners more attention than an old star midfielder, Zlatan with his magic might have a bigger impact than other past 'retirement signings'...and how much his knees will enjoy the shit pitches present in many snowbelt cities, even Atlanta gots artifical turf crap ?!?

EDIT
Galaxy play Vancouver today, nothing else to watch, maybe he will play.

La Galaxy were losing 0-3 at home to newly created team LA FC, Galaxy manage to get 2 goals back, Ibra is subbed on in the 70th, 5 mins later he does this https://streamable.com/wp3oo ... in the 90th he seals the comeback https://streamable.com/x0v0j ..

I am very afraid.

it's Ibra, what do you expect?

I guess that he will only be on fire for a year, and then his level will go down.

https://youtu.be/4gI20AZYIjk?t=201 another goal just the game before. He's honestly kept a nice top speed as well from what I have seen.

Yeah that TS of 83 he still had last season, maybe a touch lower now, 80-81 dunno a point here or there.

For me his DS is what disappeared from last season, think he can be maybe 70-71, just not showing anything on the ball to need greens. In that SKC match he had a 1-1 on goal but a sloppy dribble touch at speed ruined it and Melia managed to prevent him making a shot... https://youtu.be/4gI20AZYIjk?t=141 .. yeah you can see when he fully stretches his long legs out here he still is like that 83 TS, just needs the room to speed up.

Completely agreed. I didn’t link to it since I was rushing around, but he flubbed that chance for sure. Melia had some really good reaction saves that game as well. Agree on white ds, something I was also thinking of with Rooney when watching United.

Worth saving up here. Vela came out before the game and was saying he is the best player in the league and better than Ibra now. Ibra responded with a hat trick with Vela getting two in the Galaxy win. Never retire, Zlatan.

Updated

TS as discussed above, DS lowered, also took TECH out of reds as to me he lost some magic in first controls and more mis controls creeping into his game this season.

discord rambling on Att to 89

"I can move him to 89. I thought you reduced him a bit end of 2018 after his first season in MLS.

Currently he is having more of an impact than David Villa managed during a season - who I think maybe was the forward with most Attack in MLS history at 88. Though it can be argued Ibra has a better support players, though Alessandrini was missing nearly all year, and only recently since Pavon came did Ibra get regular service, as before Galaxy turtle most matches and try to counter and let random Ibra magic happen. Also Ibra does not play every match as he gets rested when team plays away at stadiums that have artificial pitches (some fear of injury). So in the fewer matches he plays he has a better goal return this year than Villa ever managed, a player who was more mobile ... though created more for teammates too ... hmm think Ibra is more decisive when he wants to be single handedly, so I think he should sit above David Villa in Attack...think just has a more regular ability to be the winning factor than maybe any other player in the league.
currently 26 goals in 25 matches .. wonder how many from open play
6 pens"

ground passing been less and less impressive, more mistake ridden.

Wonder if Josef Martinez's 33 goal record for single seaosn will be broken? Vela 28, IBra 26 and Martinez 24 so far with 3-4 matches remaining. Either of the 3 can still reach/break it...I dont think MLS has ever had so many goalscorers near 27 at once - since 27 was the old record - what a new world we live in.

Think Ibra also last night became Galaxy's leader in most goals in a single season for a Galaxy player. So for sure he is better than Robbie Keane, we can finally settle that debate.
