cale1991 wrote:his TS is overrated, not by much, but still overrated as Fixer said "he has long long feet and covers ridiculous distance". IMO he could easily sit on an 88 and his ACC is almost horrible, it takes him about 8-10 meters at least to reach about 80% of his max. speed. About TW it's also too high i'd go for an 81...any opinions?
While I'm around I might aswell post this. I talked with jez before I left about Ade's ACC, I agree 100% it needs reducing. He's very sluggish off the mark and you only see his true speed over quite long distances. I don't play the game anymore but I think I'd have had him anywhere from late 70's-80. You guys can work it out, just wanted to add my input as it's essentially still my set. Not sure why I gave him that value in the first place.

I think you were wrong when you decrease his TW .

Mourinho destroyed him as an attacker literaly.

He is playing like Kolo Toure beating up everybody on the field , and his OFF style of play is ridiculus

His ACC should be lowered. Like deity and others have said before, he's pretty sluggish of the mark. A 79-80 is more than enough for Ade.
His DS is also too high if you ask me, he's not this fast on the ball. Not to mention that he's actually a threat on the ball, which he's absolutely not IRL, with his AGI and DA values. His pace on the ball is nothing more than decent. A 79/80, because of his great TS, does it for me.

I also think his RES is generous. Can't say I've noticed Ade to be so sharp in his reactions tbh. Maybe it was based on his one top season back in '07/08? Definitely not on Higuain's level. I personally wouldn't rate him anything over a 83.

And I think he's stronger than this. A 86, with his Height&Weight, is already a great value but I still feel he's a bit stronger than this. I think it can come up a point.

Almost forgot, I think his TW can come down by one or two points. He combines well and all but nothing to write home about. And he's not someone who gets very involved in team play or a intelligent passer. There should be a good gap between him and Benz. So a 79/80 for me.
Also his Tech seems a bit high.. is his first touch better than Higuain's? Don't think so.

Thoughts? And I agree with tomaster that his MENT is a bit harsh and he could sit on a 75.

I've tested your changes and they're good to me, I personally go for ACC 79 and DS 80, I remember him so easy to catch by some defenders in first time, but when him is running, it's so hard to stop, even with the ball on his feet. Updated.

Edit: I prefer to wait a bit to see if RM is going to purchase him before the loan ends. If not, he'll be moved the 1st of July.

I don't think his performance was good enough to deserve a sign, even having forwards like Benzema or Higuain, who are clearly better than him. Furthermore, if they sign Agüero or Neymar, he'll doesn't have a real place on the team.

Just saw that you updated him Xyder but I forgot to add a few things. He has the Fox in the Box because people assumed it was the 'card version' of *Post Player but it's not. It's what the card says, a Fox in the Box, and it's for players like Inzaghi, Javier Hernandez, Van Nistelrooy etc. Players who love to stay high up front with the opposition defence and are lethal inside the box (true poachers). And that's something Adebayor is not so he shouldn't have the card.
And *Side should be removed as well, he used to move to the sides a lot in his Arsenal days but not anymore. I'd remove *Dribbling too.. don't think that needs any explanation.

I also question his ST. I really don't think he's that good in this area. His accuracy is poor but he's also someone who scuffs his shots a lot. I wouldn't put him just one point below Higuain or on par with Cristiano. Tbh I think he's pretty average in this and would put him in the 80-82 area.

Totally agree man, he's overrated in some aspect and underrated in values as you said in MENT. Agree!
