Yeah that touch was briliant.
I'm glad you said that about him moving around a lot, that's the impression I got whenever I saw him. And because of that he needs Dummy Runner, raising his AGG on top of it. I'm gonna update him.

i would give him scoring. He likes to involve a lot in team moves, searching the ball from the midfield, making himself very available for a pass, but then he posses a great amount of confidence( which is good ) and tries to attack by himself. So he needs *scoring for being more selfish, but letting him search the ball at midfield with also a possible higher TW ?

I would analize further his shooting( sa, st ), been pretty good at both, without 1 touch play( thing most good shooters forwards have ) i will go for something like: SA 85, SP 85, ST 85. Theres no need for a gap as PSD think is needed for all, somethimes they can all be the same( something which also happens with speed at times )and he have shown he can literally score from any position given, with good accuracy and power. I see players sitting higher than him in things like shooting...doesnt make sense at all

I think SA 85 is a bit too high to be honest his placement isn't all that good, its more his movement catching keepers off guard. ST of 85 even 86 i agree with though i think he is clearly one of those ST>SA type strikers.

Any thoughts on his heading being even higher, he is very good in the air and makes difficult headers very easily.

Suggestions

SA: 83
ST: 85/86
Header: 86/87

Probably go a little higher on the response as well.

he wouldnt still be that good with SA 85 placing, just score more when shooting, as he does. It seems PSD definition for SA, is placement...i dont excatly agree with that

I have to agree with bssm here. I know what you're trying to say Basilio but we shouldn't force the issue. If you've seen him regularly, his ST is definitely more impressive than his placement. And remember that you can't make suggestions based on your own definition(s) ;).
Not so sure on ST 86 tbh.. could be but not sure. And I'd personally go for SA 84. Agree with HEAD 86 and his RES needs to come up to, I suggest to put it on par with his ATT. It's one of his strengths.
TECH should also go up a point, he has a very good touch on him. A very complete striker.

youre right, thats true.
Stats wise then...I like his RESP going up, though im skeptical of his technique, his touch is like the definiton of: inconsistency. He can make wonderful touches, and misstrap some relative easy one, i see him overcomplicating trapping, like trying to do it more elegant or so...The exact opposite of valencia, simple, consistent and good trapping.

So, something like: Response: 85, SA: 84, ST: 85? Personally I would rather keep Header and Tech as they are at the moment, but the raises would only be minimal, so I'm not bothered either way. The best striker we've had since Shearer though, hell of a player.

Fair enough on Header and TECH. I've been thinking btw, I think we were wrong to change his position to CF. He does play like a SS but he needs Free Roaming so he'll always look to get into the box. And with that added, AGG could possibly do with a slight (1 or 2 points) decrease.

I don't watch Newcastle regularly but from what I've seen, he looks very selfish and goes by himself mostly. Even worse than Gyan.

@StevenGerrard, try to construct your post as essays (i.e. comparing with other players via ladders, describing more carefully your suggestions, and so).
Otherwise, your posts become useless. Just an advice.

Definitely agree about his need for Free Roaming. The guy seems to have this ubiquity about him, he appears absolutely everywhere in a fashion not wildly dissimilar to Thierry Henry. Also makes me believe that he could have a +1 to his Stamina, he's all action and seemingly never tiring. I think the match against Swansea truly typified his style.

On a different note, here is the reason for his scoring prowess:

I think he can hit the ball harder than today's Rooney who is also on 85.

Ba doesn't love getting into the box, looking to score?

but yeah, free roaming is a must, agree with stamina though sp more a case of rooney being overated than ba underated

It's not often you get to see a guy have an argument with himself

As for the latter part, what's your basis behind the statement "Ba not Better than RvP"? Although I do perceive them to be relatively similar in terms of accuracy, you could actually argue - using statistics - that Ba is superior to Van Persie in this department.
Spoiler: show
Image

Those statistics, dated from the 28th December 2011 (So expect some movement of statistics), actually show that Ba has a 4% greater percentage shooting accuracy and a 6% greater percentage chance conversion. Although these statistics do not tell us about the incidences in which these shots occurred, the quality of the keeper, the player error involved, the tightness of marking etc., they do allow a potential argument for stating that Ba could be superior to RvP in this area (Please note that this is not a suggestion or even an opinion of mine).

It may also interest people that, according to Opta statistics, Yakubu has the highest shooting accuracy percentage and the highest chance conversion percentage of all strikers that have played 10+ games.

Ba is better than RVP in terms of SA ,van persie can score from more awkward angles but in terms of shot placement I give Ba the edge, and Yakubu is not consistant he scores goals in knacks than stops.Ba and RVP are way more consistant.

About SA I'm not sure about the value because the PSD standards may be changed but I think a value between 85-87 will be good . His first touch is nice so I do agree on raising it and his reactions are very good and I think the same as it was said earlier about his response could be at the same level with his attack ،. Also I would like to see his header go up by one point .
