Well, I think he tries a lot, but he's just not fast enough.. Me and vinnie have talked about ds quite a bit, neither think he is really 93, but much lower..

What?

that... he's not a mazing run player or a speed merchant who is always running.. like biabiany for example

I wasn't saying he's a 93 in ds, I was just wondering how he doesn't try to surpass players using his speed on the ball, that's just the quite opposite of what he tries, aside his awesome skills.

ugh.. every player uses its speed to bypass defenders ~_~ my point is that he gets close to the defender, steps on the ball n does a double touch for example. he isn't like lucas moura who changes his direction n runs for example

pretty sure u got the point tho..

Why do you think that has top speed 80? He is a player who dribbles easily rivals but in his overall speed is not fast and Lucas Moura is a very fast player and has a very good and fast dribbling.

Besides that comparison is totally absurd, are totally different players.

Vs. Nacional

He had a correct game , on some occasions dribbled over 3 players , with the expulsion of Perez had to play in midfield.

About DS, I'm also doubt so high number, but here above, in the first post, you can see Vickingo compilation against Independiente, there is one moment when he takes the ball and just escapes largely from everyone. Yes, maybe Independiente's defenders aren't very fast, but it was just impressive how fast he with the ball, especially because he still keep the ball very close to him during this ran.

Yes, his speeding stats are really hard to rate. Anyway, I think that this set works (this combination of TS, DS and EP) but his EP could be higher and DS lower. But proportionally. I have to try it, because it was pretty hard to get to a realistic set for him, I mean his not a pretty common player.

Yes, Nacho, agree with you, for me seems the same, that with this set he's lack in Agi comparing with reality and with the ball you can do some unrealistic speed bursts with him.

BTW, his crosses are good, but I think 78-80 in LPA is enough. Also, as I said before, head/jump is outdated (also need some decrease). Imo, Head 74 and Jump 77.

I suggest in DS a 90. It is certain that 93 are very high, but 80/89 are low for him. That is my point of view. Not I know the of yours.

really deserves more DA than Romagnoli?

I think 93 in DS is an exaggeration, would be faster than Di Maria ..

His Da is up there with the very best to me, and eventhough there is intances where he tries to take on defenders by speeds and becomes sloppy.. his control, at lower speeds is just very very special, truth to be told, some comparisitions anger me a bit, how can some people have no problems with Neymar at Da 95, and say Martínez is no better than low oranges? when he is glaringly superior (and more reliant) as far close control goes.. And Cazorla? Martínes shits all over what Cazorla can do honestly, is that even debatable? :x

On my books, Zarate, D'Ale, Di María all of them are rated correctly here at psd, all of them are sitting at 93 (?), but Martínez is just in another level, he doesn't lose to anyone bar Messi, Iniesta, Silva and such. I am a strong pusher for red Da.

And he is not all that weak, vinnie insisted on this, and I agree with him, he is resilent, likes to hold up player, about Bb 78. Bump on the Agility issue too

I used to agree with you Diego in that and I do think he does deserve it...probably isn't the best time to suggest it as he has been playing really but really shit since he came to Boca. Missing almost the 80% of the balls he touches, being incredibly selfish and not having goal ability, nor good decision making. It's pretty disappointing his performances tbh. Btw, he's got that control, but sinceraly I'd like to wait how he continues playing.

I know that about not rating about just condition, but trust me, the guy decreased a lot his level every match.

Yeah, Vickingo are right, now he's far from his level, so it's not a good time to raise anything. Maybe only a little swap between DS and Agi as was suggested before (I think in EP on 85 and DS on 91).

@Vickingo His KP could raise a couple of points? This shot looks much stronger than the current value (77).

Yesterday vs. Colon : played pretty well, had several clear chances to score.

i updated the set since the discussion seemed to have been abandoned and so why the fuck not eh? only thing not sure sure about is ds. I feel 90 is ok but that can be talked about more.
If you don't put effort into your post, i won't put effort in my response.

It's ok, but I've got to say his last tournament -first with Boca- was just crap really...he couldn't surpass a fucking defender in the whole tournament...every time he touched the ball--->lost it (exaggerating but to make clear the idea)...so i don't really know if it's the best time to update him as he didn't even show probably +85. Still is pretty clear he's got a crazy control of the ball, i'm not really sure if he's red btw, but i trust you guys.

You know, today starts afa tournament for Boca, so we can watch him again.

I agree with Victor.

His performance in Boca is very poor, no way that deserve this stats..
