Re: Çağlar Söyüncü

It looks slightly better than 84, but I'm a bit more impressed with how agile he is for his size and weigth. He surely has great response, but his relatively good agility helps him to swift the direction he's facing to turn smoothly towards the ball or the nearest opp player involved in attacking. U...

Re: Ji Dong-won

First-touch is the only valuable asset on him, but he's been crappy for ages, regardless of his injury issues.
His football agent is world-class material though. With another one, Ji Dong-won should have returned to K-League three years ago. Or playing in China or a Middle-East league at most.

Re: Dedryck Boyata

He's now at _ger Hertha. He's not an automatic first-choice player there, and he's played a bit more as a RB (to replace Pekarik) than as a CB to replace either Niklas Stark or Rekik. Stark is surely the most stable, reliable CB amongst those three. Rekik has some interesting technical skills beside...

Re: Marcus Thuram

I would add 1st-Touch Play on him. To be fair, it is more a matter of a combination of his lack of composure upfront and his good scoring instinct; his shot technique is still raw and inconsistent. But we cannot deny he has that hunger for scoring which Gladbach lacked a bit last season. Best call i...

Re: Oscar Wendt

He rarely scores more than two goal per season; he's already scored three in the current one. With Marco Rose's tactics at Gladbach he behaves as both a sideback and a winger. Nowadays, it is easy to sed Wendt adding extra offensive depth by roaming into the box, whereas he did it just once in a whi...

Re: Marcus Thuram

I must confess my initial skepticism regarding the expectations of Thuram and his move to Gladbach. But he's been fine this season so far, at least when it comes to scoring. He's fairly selfish, not really supportive with his movements, which are mostly reserved for poaching. Not exceptionally respo...

Re: Robert Skov

He's not really good playing as such. It's been more a matter of Hoffenheim manager for not finding an actual replacement for Nico Schultz in the latest transfer market and the poor form of Zuber since a year ago (including that mediocre six-month loan spell at Stuttgart). He has some interesting th...

Re: Jiří Pavlenka

Well, he's been in a bad form lately indeed.
That's why he's also lost his Czech NT main GK place in favour of Vaclik, who's been exceptional this season so far for Sevilla.

Re: Tomáš Vaclík

Well, unlike his unpredictable form last season, he's been consistently great in the current one. He recently had a MOTM performance against Atlético, while he also had like three or four outstanding matches this season so far. In addition, he was MOTM against England a month ago. He's a good PK sto...

Re: Jiří Pavlenka

His footwork, which caused to conceed Freiburg's opener yesterday, tends to be poor regardless of his current form. I don't think we need to revamp this set overall. Probably TW has to be lowered a bit more, to stress on how much he struggles sometimes with his own movements inside his box, as well ...

Re: Oscar Wendt

He's in his mid 30s, but still having the best overall form of his career. He's probably not this fast anymore, but nowadays he looks extremely involved at both attack and defense, displaying tons of enthusiasm and supportiveness down his flank. Gladbach is surely on an really high form this season ...

Re: Amir Abrashi

I'm afraid he's not this good anymore, mostly on speed stats, bar Response. A couple of long-term injuries have heavily lowered his overall speed over the last two years. The intensitivity is still there, but now he cannot sustain that approach for so long, and his current slowlness naturally puts h...

Re: Leandro Barreiro

He's just an emergency, backup player for Mainz. He's just played around three league games for Mainz, and another couple at DFB Pokal. I watched him a bit playing for Luxembourg against Portugal a few weeks ago. And he actually had a decent performance for his current standards. He played the ball ...

Re: Yusuf Yazıcı

He's a really interesting player when it comes to creativeness and vision, for what I've seen of him like three or four times. Quite incisive as a passer, mostly for grounded passes. His end-up product is still raw for competitive leagues, even for Ligue 1 standards. The ideas for generating scoring...

Re: Domagoj Bradaric

He seems to cross the ball often from deep positions.
Those crosses are not really accurate in a consistent basis, but they tend to be fairly powerful and with decent swerve.
LPA may stay at low 70, but LPS looks already high green material, if not already 80.
And Curling is definitely low-mid 70s.

Re: Tyrone Mings

I like Eddie Howe's sensible style of managing overall, but he did wrong with Mings at Bournemouth. He was so obsessed on keeping him there as a LB, but it was obvious Mings was not made to play as such regularly for Premiership standards. So he had to move to Villa to find himself playing often in ...

Isn't he a good long throw deliver? Actually there is a good bunch of long throw specialists among Danish footballers. Re: UEFA Russia - players to be created

More than roaming into the box, he seems to be playing tons one-twos from the advanced-AMF role he's playing lately, as well as some occassional movements into channels right after tracking back a bit. He has some creativeness playing in that role, but the execution of those moves is usually of mixe...
