Re: Luke Freeman

Seems fair enough. He's more a circumstancial tactical dribbler than a flamboyant one who gets rid of opposition over larger spaces.

Re: Luke Freeman

Isn't he left-footed? Also, he seems to be much more agile than 76. He's a not neat dribbler when it comes to close ball control, nor a speedster on the ball, but he's capable of getting rid of a couple of opp players over small spaces thanks to his smooth turns. This agility treat doesn't look that...

Re: Junior Fernándes, Alanyaspor

He just has chances to score through easy tap ins. I don't follow Turkish football at all. But in the occasional matches he's played for Chile NT, he consistenly struggles to control from almost any kind of passes (even from mid-pace, grounded direct passes). He has a strange "talent" for ...

Re: João Pedro

He looks massively better in the air than a mere Jump 74. And I'm not talking just about his consolation goal against Inter. He's not physically dominant for someone of his size, but his leaping tends to be fairly powerful and well timed. His headers are mixed in terms of both power and accuracy, bu...

Re: Kevin Danso

I'm not sure if he's exactly what Southampton needs in the short term for their D-Line (you can change his default position if you want; he mostly played as a CB last season at Augsburg). He's surely faster than most Soton's CBs. I see I was a bit harsh when rating his Agility; he's stiff in his tur...

Re: Michael Gregoritsch

His last season was far less prolific when it comes to goals, if compared to the previous one. He's fairly inconsistent when it comes to shot placement, but those strikes tend to be clean and powerful. Despite this, he still made a reasonable amount of assists last season, using his refined first to...

Re: Reiss Nelson

Or 78, for instance; there's some important difference in that regard if compared to Sancho, who's rather fragile and tends to avoid physical contact unless he's actively attempting to be fouled in attacking positions.

Re: Reiss Nelson

Comparison between him and Sancho are natural, considering they were even close neighbours prior to sign their respective first pro-contracts. I agree with most suggestions but lowering BB. Nelson is not a bulldozer on the ball, but his balance still plays an important role in those stances, where h...

Re: Pascal Groß

He's actually a bit reluctant to shoot from mid or long range. It's not that he cannot score with a decently placed shot in those stances, but his shooting stats still need to be nerfed down a bit, to stress in his tendency to look for the best teammate to assist instead of attempting shots. He stil...

Re: Djibril Sow

Based mostly in a bunch of matches he played for YB at European competitions for the last two seasons. He looks like a fairly interesting deep-lying playmaker prospect. He's a bit inconsistent when it comes to composure and serenity, two of the main things you would expect from a midfielder who's mo...

Re: Kaan Ayhan

He has an extremely powerful shot with his right foot. Given his mainly defensive role, he rarely makes of his shots from long range. But I've seen him trying from mid range a bit more often, and he tends to strike the ball really hard in those ocassions. The accuracy of those strikers tends to be e...

Re: Lukáš Hrádecký

Updated. I really like the way he keeps focused at goalkeeping despite having some flops from time to time into matches. Instead of getting stuck, he usually enhances his performances after those flops. IRL he's also into encouraging teammates in the adversity. So, when combining his spirited person...

Re: Fredrik Gulbrandsen

Isn't he the kind of striker who tends to press opp D-Line continuosly besides his strictly offensive duties?
That's what I remember of him from the ocassional times I've seen him playing for Salzburg.

Re: Benjamin Pavard

I'm not surprised to see him with lower form after being a NT world champion and being among the best XI of that tournament. What is amusing was to watch he lowered it to that extent, to the point of being fairly responsible for the relegation of Stuttgart. I didn't watch the prom/rel playoff agains...

Re: Marko Grujić

At last, he's made a significant impact for a whole season. I was expecting him to play more as a deep-lying playmaker before the season started. But no, Pál Dardai (II) was already planning something different for Grujic. Unfortunately, he missed some matches in between after brief injuries, and HB...

Re: Marlos Moreno

Lol, he's shite as a player. He just has some massive pace; his TS/ACC combo is probably slightly better than this. But he has no inteligence upfront. He displays some aggresiveness going forward, but he's way too limited and uncomposed to make any significant impact in attack. The only world-class ...

Re: Florian Neuhaus

Gladbach 2018-19 best player imho, with only Pléa and Sommer stepping close as standout performers. So great even when simplicity is required in play. He's gradually learnt how to add some quality when attacking in the final third. He has a fairly strong shot on him, yet he still needs to enhance a ...

Re: Aleksandar Dragović

His form improved a bit in the second half of the season. He's not as good as he used to be be, but nowadays he looks less prone to nonsense mistakes.
This was probably because he's been demanded to play the ball in a much more simple way.

Re: Willi Orban

Great defender overall, with some good offensive skills for building up play which he tends to use them wisely. He would probably be better rated by the media if he managed to improve his aerial prowess a bit. If people at Leipzig want to make a significant profit based in Orban, this is probably th...

Re: Steve Mounié

Probably one of the worst strikers in EPL I've seen in a long time when it comes to shot placement. He was somewhat decent in that aspect in the previous season. In the most recent one, he was woeful (just like Huddersfield as a whole). For being an untterly lethargic CF, he's decent at choosing spo...
