Re: Cristiano Ronaldo

Yeah, i've been skeptical about these comments about Ronaldo's shooting accuracy since moving to juventus because Cristiano has already steadily become such a lethal finisher in the box over the last 5 years. it seemed to me that Cristiano is just using more long range low probability shots- particu...

Re: Oussama Idrissi

i noticed this player through some highlights videos a few weeks ago. Great base set here, i'd say Idrissi is even better in a few areas though. His acceleration is superb. He's also got really good top speed. I see quite alot of movement similarity between Idrissi and Robben. I made that comparison...

Re: Bernardo Silva

I agree with Jmvp; i haven't watched as much Bernardo Silva actually, but i looked around briefly when i saw the update. I didn't really see a 90 DS. He seemed more like mid yellows: 85/86ish? Not sure though, just going off impressions. Bernardo's workrate has looked incredible this season. I wasn'...

Re: Overall rating Algorithm

So keeping in mind the index i referred to previously, and enclosed again below in a spoiler for easy reference, here is an OVR rating ladder of the peak forms of some of the best players and famous legends of football history. 99 Greatest of all time, so far only 3-5 players at this level in footba...

Re: Alisson

I'll just briefly talk about why i think this classic set i submitted, which is now being discussed above, is to me a fair set. https://pesstatsdatabase.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=188&t=41621&p=598805&hilit=Alisson#p598805 What is Alisson? He's been since last season a super super solid g...

Re: 2010s All Stars

I think there have been enough players that have hit solid periods of form higher than what Silva has ever achieved, who? players like kane/bale etc who'll get more glory naturally for being goal scorers, but who outside of that, Modridc, kross? The only player I'd really have over him would probab...

Re: 2010s All Stars

No, that's something Silva has that rivals anyone. But he's never hit such a level of form that he could really be considered outstanding. I wouldn't use Silva's longevity to consider him the number 3 player of this decade.. he still was too clearly behind iniesta and xavi at the NT level... failed ...

Re: 2010s All Stars

With some players its really hard to determine if they should be in or not: David Silva, Why hard for Silva? He should be automatic number 3 behind Messi and Ronaldo. i don't rate david silva as highly as you do, even though i do think silva should be in- i'd say for pogba. I would not rate Silva a...

Re: 2010s All Stars

yeah i would agree that De gea should be over Courtois. Gabi is one of the great warriors in midfield in the last decade, but i think he's a reserve, or even C team All-star at best. I'd replace him in the A team with Ribery- there are too many centrally based midfielders in the A team as well, Ribe...

Re: Overall rating Algorithm

So i am close to finalizing some updated versions of the Overall Ratings formulas. These new formulas will be able to take Weak Foot Accuracy and Weak Foot Frequency into account. At the moment, the scale i am using can be explained through this index below: 99 Greatest of all time, so far only 3-5 ...

Re: Raheem Sterling

i agree with some of the opinions about SA and somewhat about TEC. his touch doesn't really seem that good to me, the old value seemed mostly ok. i'm mostly speaking from old impressions of last season so this might be an outdated view, but i haven't seen anything in the occaisonal city match i catc...

Re: Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Bissaka looks like a really really special tackler. he's got a unique flexibility when getting down to slide, along with an excellent reaction time and sense of timing. seems to me to already be the second best defensive sb behind azpilicueta.. with the potential to rival/surpass azpilicueta. he's r...

Re: Lionel Messi

On the side note, that 72 stamina could go up. He still walks on the pitch, but it isn’t as much as a few years ago. With 72 stamina you can’t finish a match with him. I would raise it to low greens. 75/76 would be perfect. i'm reluctant to agree with you about this suggestion. one thing to conside...

Re: Claudio Pizarro | 2012-2014

... i took some time to look through your footage and some other footage i found myself. i wonder if this set is slightly generous in some other ways? For example, something i noticed is that in his default set, pizarro's aggression is uniquely low compared to other top notch strikers. This leads m...

Re: Arjen Robben

Below reds that is. Regardless of the other opinions, and explanations which I appreciate, I firmly stand by this being a glaring mistake. Mr CR7 has 93 tech, and he doesn't bring the ball down as well as Robben. Forgive the insistence, but I'm not backing off this because I'm 100% sure of it. ther...

Re: David de Gea

I find it really annoying how little action united players get when their posts are far more active than the likes of City. Bernardo Silva has been updated more times in the last 2 weeks than most united players have been it has to do with mod activity. city are an interesting team to watch nowaday...

Any other opinion on his sps? i think it's always been rea...
