Re: Sergio Busquets

anchoring defense or protecting centre backs has nothing to do with why busquets has mid yellow def values, he is one of the smartest players when it comes to positioning defensively and cutting dangerous attacks before they even start, and he does all that without any speed, dude is as slow as a sn...

Re: Wilfred Ndidi

Hopefully people start to notice that Ndidi is Leicester's most important player, dude is a defensive monster, held whole midfield and protected mediocre defensive 4 like a prime Makelele and was rarely ever given any credit, it was all about Maddison or Vardy. He's easily best defensive midfielder ...

Re: Adama Traoré

he can, he played some in barca b and the little time he played for A team, but since his crossing is better than his shooting it makes more sense to use him there, you use right footed player on a left wing only if he can cut and shoot or is a good crosser with his weak foot, something Adama really...

Re: Lionel Messi

Pretty much, Isco does look more effortless in his traps, similar to Thiago on his best days. Messi doesn't have that same elegant style but it's still pretty much flawless, I just think that doing those insane traps in strides is more impressive than those dead on classy controls Isco does. Doing s...

Re: Alen Halilović

havent seen him play in such a long time, no wonder he is where he is now since he loves his nights out and drinks and shit, another one of those enjoying benefits of playing pro than actual game, cant really suggest anything, but declines usually reflect on physical and mental aspects of the game, ...

Re: Lionel Messi

i dont think thats true, Messi does what Isco does in a stride, at full speed, at any angle, Isco is smooth as butter on his best days, looks classy as hell due to his movement style i guess, Messi doesn't look so classy but his first touch and control on his best days are still level above

Re: Adama Traoré

Isn't his SA bit too low? I know he's not outstanding finisher, but he was always decent at 1v1s and this year it seems he scores bit more.

Re: Miralem Pjanić

Juve bought him for a reason from Roma. Juventus bought him because 32 mln € was a really good price for a young and so talented midfielder like him Plus, Juventus stole him from Rome Very good deal obviously they didn't buy him just because of the price tag, he was a world class player in Roma, be...

Re: Miralem Pjanić

Pjanic was always world class player, Sarri is just making most out of it because he's focusing whole gameplan through him, something Allegri didn't like to do. Pjanic's workrate, passing ability, free kicks and shooting were always up there, Juve bought him for a reason from Roma. He has always sho...

Re: Arthur

also his ball protecting, DA seems impressive, he's verratti-llike in that aspect, obviously not that insane level of control verratti has, but it seems almost impossible to take the ball away from him. For whatever reason he's much fitter this year, doesn't get tired 60-70mins in the game, runs who...

yup, he's pretty much up there with Messi chance creation wise, obviously not as frequent, but he's making some insane passing attempts and most of the time he succeeds.
He's not flashy but his efficiency is deadly

Re: Dani Olmo

ye, he's definitely low yellowish, incredibly dangerous, crazy good vision, sees passing lanes most other players don't, and his dribbling and intuition when to do what is so smart. I'd say bumps to 80-81 for attack and stamina to 80 wouldn't be too crazy, DA and DS could possibly be higher, but we ...

Re: Neymar

One thing that hurts Neymar a lot for NT is the way he's used, or the role he plays there. He begins wide hugging the line as a regular LMF, and roams inside. The problem with that is that one, he gets the ball on possibly the worst possible place, while he's hugging the touchline. For those who ar...

Re: Neymar

There are historic playmakers at these values and all of them pass circles around Neymar, and pass deadlier final passes from intricate positions. Oh, do they? Because we've spent years establishing thresholds for passing greats over the last 30 years, they aren't vague notions of how capable these...

Re: Adama Traoré

There are millions of videos and situations in which Traore clearly shows he's by far the fastest player out there, a single duel with Van Dijk doesn't mean he's not deserving or highest numbers. Just because Van Dijk won the duel and did show impressive recovery speed doesn't mean he's quicker than...
