Re: Carlos TÉVEZ

 he really is a scumbag not even in the same planet as funny It was a reference to Sir Alex Ferguson saying "not in my lifetime" when asked about Manchester City winning the league. It's actually pretty funny. It just seems in poor taste because Ferguson is 70. Moreover, Tevez didn...

How about Diego Lopez? Used to play for Real Madrid B and C, and has been pretty solid at Villarreal.

Re: Kieran GIBBS

The set seems rather inaccurate, to be frank. Firstly, his Defence is far too high. His positioning is often dire and easily exposed and targeted by other teams, just look at how Liverpool exploited it to aplomb. If we're putting Santos on a 60, then Gibbs could only sit at a 61/62 (I don't believe ...

Re: Pepe REINA

Valdés has just been given LPA 72 and LPS 78... and I don't think he's better than Reina in terms of long passing. Reina could easily get his LPA into low greens (75 maybe) and LPS as high as Valdés or even more (79?). There are differences in their style of long passes though, considering that &qu...

Yes he could use an update. Hope Tom will swing by and make suggestions :). ...and here I am. Its like the Bat-Signal or something. I'm not sure that huge overarching changes really need to occur in this set, but there are areas that can be raised and one thing that will probably put him in a bette...

The set looks good. Might it be an idea to put the old set in the Contemporary Classics section?

Re: Sylvan EBANKS-BLAKE

It's been 3 years since I made this set, and I'm not exactly sure how I'd evaluate Ebanks Blake's time in the Premier League. To be frank, he's not set the world alight. He started off pretty poor and has since been largely consigned to the bench. However, for a player whose appearances majorly came...

Re: Darren BENT

A few potential changes that came up in conversation between me and Paddy the other night: Attack:85 Response:89 (although personally I'd only go as far as an 87) Shot Accuracy:85 Shot Technique:78 (although I can see it go down further should we begin reworking the whole ladder) Technique: could m...

Re: Richard DUNNE

Given a quick cursory overview of the set, I think a few changes could be made. Firstly, his Agility has to go down. The guy's an oil-tanker and perhaps worse than Mertesacker in this area. A 67 to say the least. I'd reduce his Dribble Speed and Technique. Just like with Collins, he just isn't this ...

Re: James COLLINS

Okay, I think that a real overhaul might be needed here. The set seems quite antiquated in a lot of areas and he's simply not playing up to his late West Ham/early Aston Villa form (Might have been an idea to put the previous set in a Classic section or something). Firstly, his passing attributes pa...

Re: Theo WALCOTT

On a side note, I'd like to retract my previous suggestion of a Team Work increase. He was bloody useless against Man United. Alarmingly few of his passes found team-mates, a lot of them being unnecessarily overcooked, and there was one particular incident with Van Persie that caught my eye where Wa...

Re: Aaron RAMSEY

I honestly think that we can make a number of downgrades. Despite seemingly becoming a starter player, I don't think anyone would currently say that he's exactly exhibiting the performance level of a first team regular and, as discussed before, it's hard to really ascertain why he's in the team at t...

Re: Jason ROBERTS

His accuracy is still laughable at times and a 74 isn't a terrible value by any means. He is a perennial shinner of the ball though  So I agree with him being SA>ST Oh definitely, I'd be tempted to go even lower for his SA and ST to be frank. I'm just trying to consider Heskey in the equation,...

Re: Jason ROBERTS

Actually, I'd rather him on an SA of 74 and an ST of 72. I think, in general, he's fairly accurate in shooting, but he scuffs and poorly strikes a lot of his shots, mostly because he rushes them.

Re: Jason ROBERTS

This set probably needs quite the overhaul really, it's quite antiquated. The guy's little more than a late sub nowadays, and has really put in some insipid performances of late. Given the current "potency" interpretation of the Attack stat, can we really justify him being above the likes ...

Re: Younes KABOUL

Agree. I've also been thinking about raising his DA and passing stats. One of his strengths is his ball-playing abilities and I feel he could use a slight boost in these areas. AGI could also use a slight raise but I do have doubts about his BAL though. Can't help but feel that it might be a bit to...

the problem with raising teamwork though is it could make him too incise and thats where swansea have been lacking untill recently That is true. But could it not be argued that this is an area where the Passing special ability should be reconsidered? Although accurate in the final third, he's not a...

Re: Younes KABOUL

I think that there's true reason to really start evaluating the current set. Kaboul has been superb this season; he's improved on his form from last season, and has emerged this year as being one of the more in-form Premier League defenders. He's more successful in the air than last year, his tackli...
