Good stats pes_hhc, but i think his agility was more than this, even worth godly value, he's always been incredible at this.

EDIT: And his WFA/F should really be 3 or even less. When he was young, he was crap, crap, crap with his right foot, and never used it. This last year he has imrpoved a bit.

crap,crap,crap

yes,I'm agree.

Yes, should be B, like current Messi

He improved a lot on Injury Tolerance on the last two years. He was a warranty of a long time injury every season on his starts on the first team. For me C is well rated.

why is top speed only 85?
I personally would rate it at about 91 for this age of Messi

Yeah it definetely should go uo, but not sure if that much, I'd rate more about 88, he had more speed back then, but less Acceleration of course, now he burns defenders in a second.

Yeh that'd be right, he was damn fast with the ball at his feet. Also couldn't his DA go down a couple of points to 89? I mean surely he was amazing and could dribble anyone, but he was only 18 at the time, he had just reached 1st team and still had to grow a lot(same thing goes for C. Ronaldo in his Sporting times, teenagers that already have worldclass stats).

Also Agility could be raised one point. THIS was and still is his main weapon.

@ as_10: i don't think his DA should be decreased, in fact i have it at 92. What makes the diference between a kid and a professional player is stuff like defense/attack ratios, response, stamina,TW (very important and very hard to find a kid that has it) and mentality. Like:

Attack: 76
Stamina: 78 - i'm not really shure of this, but did he played the full 90 mins regulary?
Response: 76
Short Pass Accuracy: 78
Short Pass Speed: 74
Long Pass Accuracy: 73
Long Pass Speed: 68
Shot Accuracy: 77
Shot Power: 75
Shot Technique: 81
Curling: 74
Technique: 87 - messi was never a genius of technique, not even today imo,his receptions r not feather-like, the kind of player that receives a long pass and controls it without even looking. I'd compare his touch in those days to Di Maria today. With Messi it is all down to agility and precise dribble.
Aggression: 87
Mentality: 74
Team Work: 72

Sorry but 85 TS is quite frankly ridiculous. He was quicker then than he is now as he has lost a little bit of pace through injury. Also considering his current speed stats is underatted he simply has to be in orange numbers for this era.

Don't agree. Being small Messi seems faster than he really is, he was and still is damn fast with the ball, that's why i sugested 94 for DS. If Messi had an orange value for TS young Ronaldo would have to be red, wich would put at the level of Eto'o.

But Ronaldo is more or less the same speed now as he was when he was younger. Messi for sure has not got quicker as he has aged he has got a tad slower due to injury.

But u can't compare their speeds off the ball, Ronaldo is clearly faster over long distances. Imo ronaldo's TS as always been higher than Messi's, it's just that Messi is small and agile making look faster, and he keeps the same speed on and off the ball. Meaning their dribble speed is about the same.

And i think ronaldo is slower now, he's becoming Arnold Shwazneger or something like that. Say, i'm shure he still can be lightning fast if needed, but if he uses his full power he won't have the balance (meaning agility in game) to stop and turn like he did because he's becoming a heavy player.

Regardless, younger Messi should be around 90 in TS. Today I rate him as about 89/88.
Ronaldo nowadays should be 91 minimum, in the past he could have been 93/94 but I honestly don't think he has lost that much speed if any.

Forgot to say agree with as-10, agility was just as good as today's. And why 1-touch pass?

Added 2009-2010 set (thanks for reminding us julgui). Updated 2005-2006 set to fit new format. Changes...

1. Header: 63-->68 (2005-2006 set) - I saw him score a few headers during that Era (for Argentina under 20 squad) and I think 63 is just too low. With 68 (and Jump: 72) he won't be much effective header, anyway.

2. Added new Cards (2005-2006 set): P07: Mazing Run, S01: Reaction, S05: 1-touch Play, S06: Outside Curve, S14: Quick Turn + Attack/Defence Awareness Card: Attack Minded (Attack/Defence Awareness Card is added for both sets).

3. Added Growth type: Early/Lasting for both sets. Added Abilities Explanation (2009-2010 stats), Honours, Videos and Additional Links.
