Parma site puts him at a much realistic size of:
187 cms
80 kgs

http://www.fcparma.com/component/campio ... tore=19320

quick edit:
I don't find parma site trustable in sizes,
Cause Paci is clearly their bigger player, even than keepers

and they put

Paci 185 cms (190 cms)
Mirante 193 cms (188 cms)
Dellafiore 182 cms (seemed taller than Gilardino at my eyes)
Cordova 180 cms (seemed shorter)
Castellini 179 cms (no way under 182 cms)

Wow this guy is underrated, but I don't know exactly what we could increase. I will watch some more games if he is fit again.

These stats were made when he was still in Serie B with Parma, so carefully tried not to overrated it...He may need an update but I haven' t seen him play recently though....

I've heard paper talk about it, nothing concrete yet as far as I know.

Alf Ramsey: "I'll be watching you for the first 45 minutes and if you don't work harder I'll pull you off at halftime."
Rodney Marsh: "Crikey Alf, at Manchester City all we get is an orange and a cup of tea."

The move to ManCity is off and now Inter wants him. I would definitely take him over Simplicio or Ledesma!

got potential, we will see in the coming years.. Will be a good replace for Muntari imo, quite a different player anyway..

I use to watch a lot of Serie A games and believe me: Ledesma & Simplicio are too bad for a topteam like Inter. Maybe they are better currently than Mariga, but he has got the potential to be 3 classes above them put together. His style reminds me a little bit of Essien or Vieira.

I respectfully disagree with you opinion of Ledesma and Simplicio. They are two of my favorite player to watch in the Serie A. Simplicio's versatility and effort...not to mention his attacking ability would help ANY team in the world..including the Brazilian NT. Ledesma and Simplicio are in their Prime. So if we are talking about getting a player for 2 years, they are way better options. If we are talking about 2+ years...sure Mariga is a great choice based on potential. But to compare already to Essien is a bit far fetched isn't it?

Well I didn't say that he is as good as Essien, but that his style reminds me of him. It's a small difference. Considering that we had a lot of old players warming the bench, a 30 year old Simplicio isn't the best choice, we would have paid 4 millions for him, although he is avaible for free in the summer. 10 million for Ledesma is also too much..

It depends on the team. I don't really feel that Inter need a playmaker like Ledesma right now. But I feel 10 million for Juventus is a good move.

Well, Juve already have Candreva, Giovinco & Diego. Also what would happen with Felipe Melo? But I agree, Juve should have bought D'Agostino or Ledesma instead of Felipe Melo.. but well this isn't the transfer market-thread. :P

I don't know how genuine the story is, however Inter were supposedly talking to Simplicio before they signed Mariga. So who knows he may move in the summer. I think Mariga is definitely a talent, although i'd rather he stayed at Parma for the time being.
