i think its time to upgrade bonera's stats....the main reason...his good and continuous performances thought the season so far....

Attack: 56 --> 58/60 (when he plays as side back, he plays decent matches)
Defence: 83 --> 85 (for me he deserves higher defense than kaladze, but with 85 its still ok)
Balance: 84 --> 85 (he is not a fast defender, sor he always uses his body to stop rivals)
Stamina: 83 --> 84 (when he is not "post-injured", he could play 90 minutes without decreasing his game)
Agility: 74 --> 75 (even though he is a defender he sometimes gets rid from rivals by his quick moves)

Short Pass Accuracy: 70 --> 71
Short Pass Speed: 71 --> 72
Long Pass Accuracy: 69 --> 70
Long Pass Speed: 78 --> 79

in general, he always performs good passes, short and long ones, with precision.....he is one of those defenders that always begin playing with passes and not a shot to the front....

Header: 79 --> 83
Jump: 79 --> 82

here, bonera, even though not being a tall defender as senderos or nesta...he is most of the time the one that wins the headers in defensive corners....also when the rival makes a long pass, he intercepts it....

Team Work: 79 --> 80 (he has been understanding better with his team mates)

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
MARKING*

covering* (he makes covering one of his main pros....when the sideback runs forward, he covers the empty spot with great anticipation...i dont know if you have noticed this....

you know, i didn't almost see him at all this season, but just a warning: i don't know if these updates are right, but it would become probably one of the top10 SerieA CBs with these... is it the case?

I don't know why people think his defensive rating should go up... he's perfect on 83 imo

could go down if anything... this guy sucks :D And that high response value is still bothering me.

well i have seen him since parma...and for me he has been improving his defensive abilities in these last years with milan.....and as i said before, he is not and will not be a world class defender, but he is still better than many cbs in italy.....

i think he should have an improvement (better than lowering kaladze)

Attack: 56 ---> 59 (when he plays as sb, he does a decent job, he always tries to go forward, but obviously he has his limitations)
Defence: 83 ---> 84 (for me this season he is way better than kaladze, but not so much for owing a 86 for example.....so 85 should also be fine)
Balance: 84 ---> 85 (he is not a "muscle player" but most of the time he uses his bb to stop the strikers)
Short Pass Accuracy: 70 ---> 72
Short Pass Speed: 71 ---> 72
Long Pass Accuracy: 69 ---> 71
Header: 79 ---> 80
Jump: 79 ---> 80

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
MARKING*

add
*covering (he most of the time covers the flank left by zambrotta or the sb in that moment, he also works most of the time as 1st defender, this means that he is the cb that must go forward when a dmf is out of sight)

If he's so good, why are Milan struggling with defensive options? Why is Bonera always fielded as SB rather in the middle in place of Senderos? This guy is very average at best, Milan deserve better. Just lower Kaladze instead of increasing Bonera.

well rfuna this season he only play as sb a couple of times, counting the last match....the rest of the matches he wasnt even on the list because he was injured.......

obviously he can play as sb, but off course he doesnt make it in a great way....he performs a decent sb role

and for beck23la....yes, youre right.....and the actual bb is correct anyway...

he is fine, you don't need to lower kaladze either, he's been injured this season... if i would upgrade something, that would be the defence stat, as i see it as an 85(average), am gonna look at the ladders and give him a number.

hmm, he's ok at 83, a point or two behind metarazzi and chellini, though i can't seem to agree with him being on par with burdisso... anyway i agree with 83 and the rest of the stats

:lol: why not though. Does Kaladze deserve 85 for defence? Not just based on his perfomances this season but also last? All I'm saying lower Kaladzes Def. by 1pt, that way Bonera doesn't look so bad :D. I also disagree with the response number. I've mentioned it a few times before and as usual Gooner told me to piss off, or something to that effect :D He already has great speed for serie CB and marking*, combine that with a world class response stat... I'd like to see response lowered by 2/3 pts. I think that makes more sense.

alongside his Cons 6,i think he could get IT : C . i know that he's always out of the starting 11 for technical choices,but he really got a lot of injuries also. counting the position he playes,he wouldnt be tackled a lot,and a C could give him those 'injury detected' at half time or end of games.

Alongside Consistency 6 and Injury C,sometimes from today:
in all the situations he was the deeper one of the two CBs.
Thiago Silva was the 'moving' one,running for tackles and covering spaces.
Less aggressive than Thiago,was the one related to the Offside trap and used that really well.
Three times at least called good traps on Di Vaio,and the striker got imeediatly caught offside.

Played right back against Manchester tonight,and as easily predictable offered a mainly defensive performance...i remember basically only a cross from the side in an offensive run.
but looked generally decent imo,he's an example of what a Cons 6 player is imo. he got decent tackling and an average effort.
