Is his first touch really deserving 84?

we already discussed it in the old forum. his 1st touch shots are pretty good

only thing im not sure is 7 consistency. if u watch a whole match, he seems to score more by accidents than skills.

thats my problem with Toni as well... he misses many shots, even easy ones... I think his positioning is among the best in the world but his finishing isnt, he's not a Trezeguet type of player who can put the ball into the net no matter how the ball comes...

about 1st touch... I think his technique is okay for a striker, nothing "extraordinary"... I don't know if he deserves 1st-touch-shot though... combined with the other special stars and shooting stats he'd be capable of too spectacular goals I fear

so what do u think? +1/2 for attack and - some points for sa and st?! .. about 1st-touch.. I dunno why he has that star.. :? could be removed..

and his TEC.. thing is that when the balls are on the floor (like normal passes) he has a pretty bad first touch ~ 76 I would say.. BUT! when he stops a long pass its fuckin amazing.. true its not always perfect... but mostly its like totally gorgeous to watch .. so his long pass killin is like 88 for me .. 76+88 = 163 / 2 = 81,5 --> 82 hm.. damn :D .. ok maybe it should get reduced to 83..

well i think particularly his ST is overrated.. i mean how is he better than RVN in this department? RVD is no god in ST, but still better than toni.. i think tonis ST should be 88/89, cause +90 is for ppl who score from really tight angles.. i know ST is also for shooting while under pressure - something where toni is really good at, but i just never saw regular difficult shots from him to justify 92.. i mean that's only 2 points behind Ibra and Quagliarella ... that's simply not true..

and his SA .. well sometimes he has 97 SA and then again sometimes he's just ridiculous with something like 82 (may sound harsh but true..) .. and with 92 he there's a 5 point gap between him and villa.. and that's just not the case imo
with something like 89/90 he still will be the best just right after RVN and Trezeguet - and kinda equal to Totti and closer to the others, which is more accurate imo..

so what about
Attack: 97
SA: 89/90
ST: 88/89

and just in case if someone comes and tells me something like "lower his consistency then" - NO :) he's constantly scoring his goals.. but sometimes he just has those really really weird moments :?

yeah, ST is for shots under pressure too, but considering that pressure applied to him is not that much (BB 93)... well, you could consider the other points of ST more :)

he scores his goals but thats due to his amazing positioning which allows him to have many chances...

You're right, he has a lot of chances and his ST should be lower than Klose's. Klose should have 90 for ST and Toni 89, about SA, Klose should have 88 and Toni 90 :)

I think the main problem here is consistency
Everybody's agreeing for Klose to get 5 consistency and imo he's way more consistent than Toni. Going back to my old suggestion that everybody disagreed with me in the old forum: 5 consistency

How can you give Cons. 5 to a striker who scores so many goals like Toni? He still scores in nearly every match.

I do agree with Consistency 5...

well, consistency is simply about how many chances you throw away. him scoring goals doesn't mean he doesn't waste chances... it just means that he capitalizes some. and from what i remember he does waste quite some :)

I think you're right, sometimes he is amazing and sometimes he is really like Adebayor  The thing is that he scored more goals than Klose is because of his response/attack/agression, and I agree with Attack 97 and I think we can up his agression to 97.

SO :
SA 90
ST 88
Consistency 5
attack 97
agression 97

I think his agility should be lowered too. He simply is unagile where 76 implies he is just on the lower side of average. I would say 74.
I agree with the suggestions by Bret_Hart_67 apart from the consistency.

agility is difficult to say... he's one of the most un-agile players I've seen in my life, I mean even some defenders seem quicker than him in this aspect... but he sometimes does a surprising move that puzzles me...

74 sounds alright to me
